Fairytale Brownies

Gourmet Belgian Chocolate

Enchanted Chocolate

Once upon a time, in a faraway kitchen, two friends started baking a secret family recipe for brownies. Not just any brownies, but rich, fudgy brownies made with exquisite dark chocolate. These friends, Eileen Spitalny and David Kravetz, met on the playground in kindergarten and made a promise to each other to spread their love of chocolate and brownies around the world. After college they started moonlighting as bakers and today they’re running a gourmet brownie business in their own bakery and shipping sweet confections to brownie lovers worldwide.

There’s good reason for the success of Fairytale Brownies. Eileen and David insist on pure ingredients, like Callebaut Belgian chocolate blended with pure creamery butter and farm fresh eggs. You won’t find any trans fats, hydrogenated oils, preservatives or artificial colors. And their brownies are guaranteed fresh upon arrival. We’re guessing they won’t stick around for long, but if you’re the type who can avoid the temptation to immediately consume every last morsel, Fairytale Brownies will keep at room temperature for a week or longer (you can also freeze them).

Eileen and David have created 12 signature flavors, each more tempting than the last. There’s caramel, chocolate chip, cream cheese, espresso nib, mint chocolate, original, peanut butter, pecan, raspberry swirl, toffee crunch, walnut and white chocolate. A few bites and you’ll be on your way to happily ever after.

We are thrilled to have Fairytale Brownies be featured on Daily Grommet. Eileen and I have been in the brownie business for almost 18 years, but making new brownie friends never gets old. We still get excited when people discover Fairytale and become fans of ours. My mother’s brownie recipe played a dominant role in my friendship with Eileen when we were growing up, and it continues to do so as we spread the brownie word via Fairytale Brownies.

I will be available today to talk to you and answer any questions or comments that you may have.

I just loved this picture they sent us of David at age three in his kitchen helping to make Brownies that I had to add the full size picture here! Now that's foreshadowing!!

Thanks Katherine. As you can see, my Mom always let me lick the batter! My Mom and Dad still live in the same house. When I stop by (they only live a 1/2 mile away), I have wonderful memories of that kitchen where the "magic" happened.

Folks over on Twitter today are eager to share their experiences with Fairytale Brownies. It seems your fans reach far and wide David. One follower (Kate Landers) sent us this message: "These are awesome, got them in a huge gift basket a few years ago, they were great and I loved the presentation!"

Thanks for the birthday wishes - 44 today! And thanks Kate for the nice Twitter comment. We definitely spend a lot of time and energy on the presentation of the brownies. Since almost every box we send out is a gift, we pay extra attention to the quality and detail of the packaging. We always want to make a great impression for our customers! Oh, and the brownies are pretty awesome too! :)

Local Phoenician chiming in here...Happy Birthday David! I think it's wonderful that Fairytale Brownies is giving back to the children in our communities and I'm sure I speak for many when I say "Thank you!" As for the brownies, they are simply delicious and are always a huge hit for just about any occasion like birthdays and employee appreciation days. Believe me, you can never have enough. lol

Thanks for the kind words Julie! Yes, we've been a supporter of KaBOOM! for many years. They're a great organization whose goal is to ensure a safe playground within walking distance of every child in America. It's a great way for us to give back since Eileen and I met on the kindergarten playground in Phoenix. Check out their link below.

ohmigod - someone sent a big box of these to our office this past Christmas. I assumed they were junk because much of the gift box food industry is. But I am a chocoholic and I got a whiff of one that a co-worker had opened and couldn't resist checking a little closer. No junk. Just chocolate yumminess. I will not disclose how many of them I devoured because it's entirely embarrassing. I will admit that they were so good I swiped one to bring home for my husband to try. Chocolate euphoria on a whole new level of brownie deliciousness. Yes, they are that good.

@DJP - You're going to have to let us know what does find its way under that tree!

@Ann - you couldn't have said it any better. There are enough brownies out there that get your hopes up because they look so good, but they are a complete disappointment. It's good to know that these satisfy a skeptical chocoholic! Thanks for posting!
