Today we're featuring a gingerbread house kit by Candy Cottage and we have a sugar rush just thinking about all of the endless gingerbread house ideas we can create. The cool think about this kit is that it doesn't include stale pre-baked gingerbread or require you to bake it from scratch. Nope -- the fun is in the decorating and that's what these kits let you focus on.
These are reusable houses that are easy to assemble and ready to decorate -- all year long. Left over Halloween candy? Check out these spooky gingerbread house ideas:
Now you can create gingerbread houses all year (isn't that fun?). Check out other holiday ideas:
And of course, you're kit will be put to good use around Christmas.
Are you inspired to come up with other gingerbread house ideas? Tell us, what type of candy house would you create?

Besides the obvious (Christmas!) we love to decorate for all the holidays. But if I had two.... I think being plastic, we could use it with peanut butter and birdseed to feed the birds too! A birdfeeder house!
I love to decorate for most holidays - this would be the perfect centerpiece for an easter table - I could just imagine it as a really cute shingled cottage with flower filled window boxes and oodles of bunnies and easter eggs on a nice green lawn - the decorating ideas with this product are endless! What a great idea.
What a great idea!! My kids love to decorate gingerbread houses and it would be so much easier to decorate a plastic one!! Super cute!
I love this! The possibilities! A haunted house for Halloween and Santa's cottage for Christmas would be just the beginning!
A Christmas house of course but I would also use it for personalized bday party houses, a halloween house etc.
Oh...the opportunities....I would try to recreate the beach house we stayed at this past summer! The boys keep asking to go back. Would be fun to decorate one to look like it...and include some shell chocolates and candies.
Recreate the memories for them.
Thank you for the opportunity!
We've never done Halloween houses before...a haunted mansion would make an awesome centerpiece!
That is a great idea. A reuasble Gingerbread House. You could use it for any Holiday.
I can see a haunted house in my future
I would use it to make a baby shower centerpiece and mommy to be gift!
I would love to do a halloween themes one for a girl's night out party I'm throwing!
If I won, my daughter and I would do a Haunted house right away. But after Halloween is over and I ask her if we should make a fairy house, like Tinkerbells, she is going to go ecstatic! That's what we would like to build with this awesome kit. thanks
Oh... Pastels for Easter would be lovely! And there's so much more
Christmas and Halloween and any other holidays my girls would like!
