Chillsner

In-Bottle Beer Chiller

Chill & Swill

From the makers of The Corkcicle comes an in-bottle beer chiller called The Chillsner. Developed to meet the needs and countless requests of Corkcicle fans who wanted a similar solution for their favorite beer, The Chillsner keeps your brew cool from the first sip to the last drop.

More effective than an ice-cold glass or a koozie, the Chillsner maintains the temperature of your beer from inside the bottle. Unlike ice, it won’t melt and dilute the taste. Simply freeze for 45 minutes, take a sip of beer to make room for
the Chillsner, place it inside the bottle, and savor every refreshingly cool sip.

With its bottle-mouth design, it’s easy to forget the Chillsner is even in the bottle. The only difference is that now while you’re chilling with your friends, your beer will be chilling too.

How many beers will this work with on a single freezing? Assuming moderate temperatures and not sitting on the beach in FL.

@Greg Chillsner will maintain an already cold beer for about an hour. The surrounding conditions do make a difference as you suspected. When I tested Chillsner, I was able to enjoy two cold beers while standing and chatting at a BBQ and holding the beers in my hand.

@Julia Exactly. About an hour is the mark, so the real question is how many beers do you down in that time frame? Thanks for the question @Greg

Does this fit wine cooler/malt beverage type bottles, such as Mike's?

@KATHIE Unfortunately the bottles on most of the wine coolers on the market are shorter than the standard 9" beer bottle, which means it will not work with the Chillsner. Thanks for the question Kathie!

Looks like it only fits "long necks", will this work on shorter 12oz bottles?

@ROBERT This does fit in traditional 12oz bottles. It fits around 90% of the beers on the market. You have a few "short" bottles like Newcastle and Red Stripe that are exceptions...but the vast majority of bottled beer will fit with Chillsner. Thanks for the question Robert. Cheers!

The only problem is going to be the beer is too cold. This icy cold beer has now flavor. This would never sell in Europe. ! A styrofoam Ice chest and 1.50 bag of ice from WalMart will last all day and you can buy a case of beer and have change left over from the price of this thing.

@Guest Thanks for your comment. To clarify, the Chillsner maintains an already cold beer at its starting temperature when it comes out of a traditional refrigerator. Our stated goal is that your last sip be just as cold as that refreshing first! This keeps you from having to chug your beer and allowing it to get it too warm where it becomes undrinkable. And Europe is actually coming around on this point as well, with the exception of your heavy stouts...

Honestly I think that this would keep your beer too cold. Most craft beer is best at about 40°F to 50°F. So a ice cold craft beer is not optimal

@Guest Lol! You must walk around naked, live in a cave, eat only what you kill and drink the rain. Good luck with that.

Thanks for your feedback. We know that our community strongly supports Grommets that are made here in the U.S. and we agree whole heartedly with them. That's why we have an entire section on our site that's dedicated to this value.

Unfortunately, not every one of our Grommet partners are able to manufacture domestically - sometimes it's just not possible. Thank you again for your feedback.
