MagneButton

Magnet Closure Accessory

Get It Together

Multiple layers of fabric are no match for MagneButton, a clever problem-solver that lets you style and fasten your clothes without damaging them. If you have a scarf that won’t stay put, a cardigan that keeps opening up, or a plain hat in need of some flair, the double-sided MagneButton is the perfect no-holes solution.

The creator, shop owner Christy Grierson, came up with the idea after listening to her customers complain about cardigans without closures. What they needed was a safety pin -- but who wants to ruin a
great look with a safety pin? Christy started tinkering with heavy-duty magnets and adding embellishments to make them more fashionable. Her designs were an instant hit, ranging from classic, subtle patterns to more expressive, bold prints.

Christy’s simple yet hardworking accessory can help you pull your outfit together… literally.

Does the MagneButton interfere with your laptop/home comuter/cell phone - etc. because it is a magnet ?

I would not risk having magnets near a medical device.

So are you saying that the magnets won't affect a cellphone, computer, etc.? Also, what about crdit cards? Will they possibly be demagnetized?

No, I'm saying I wouldn't risk it if you are worried about medical devices.

Magnets could affect medical devices and I don't think they should risk it.

I wear it daily and it doesn't my cell phone or computer.

It can be hidden between pieces of fabric on a scarf or sweater. I do that if I want my outfit to look really casual.

@Karen Chiasson Add it to your favorites list and wait for a Daily Grommet free shipping deal you can take advantage of, like the one that just expired yesterday. I hear you about the sting of S&H charges. This is how I combat that, maybe it will help you out too.

I love this idea, I've ruined scarves trying to pin them with pins that snag because they may not be as sharp as they once were. Great idea.

Christy, both Debby and I are concerned about these magnets possibly being what is called 'rare earth magnets.' She and I realize that rare earth magnets, which are likely the strongest around, are a significant danger to computers of any type. Damage to computers by rare earth magnets is not covered by warranty.

I think the idea is GREAT, I wished I had them a few days ago. I'd love to get a set, but i need to KNOW that these are specifically NOT rare earth magnets, and/or specifically what they are made of.

    Thanks.

    Debby & Gail-

Thank you for your "GREAT" kudos on the Magnebutton!

I understand your concern about magnets and computers.

I work all day wearing mine and nothing affects my computer.

These are a very common magnet, and I think with any magnet, you should not stick them to your computer or store them near it.

    Hope this answers your question!

I purchased the Antique Rhinestone MagneButton. They work very good and are the strongest magnets I have ever seen however, I bought them for a gift and they are not very attractive. The rhinestones are placed hap-hazadly leaving empty spaces making it look very cheep. I will not be using these for a gift.

I love the idea behind this and ordered both gold and siver for gifts. I also put one of each color in the gifts to give them an option of which side to show. However, I must say I was very disappointed in how they look...nothing like the pics. The gold looked like it had been painted with a heavy, dull paint. The silver is not much better. I would think for the price, they could have looked much prettier than they do.

The Antique Cluster Rhinestone MagneButton was inspired and modeled after an fun, artsy vintage button. It has a creative, non-streamlined look to give it the aged effect. A few people have commented that it "reminds them of buttons that were passed down from grandparents". I love that!

The Antique Gold Magnebutton set has a unique burnished look to simulate a vintage style. It is a great accessory for those multi-colored scarves with all the fall tones. The finish may vary due to the finishing process. Thanks for checking out our product!

The Antique Silver is our original design. It has the aged, oxidized appearance which gives it the unique appearance. I wanted to create something that would "go with everything". This button is our best seller in the collection to date.
