Paper Bakeware

Baker’s Delight

Foil baking pans make it easy to bring food to a party or give a homemade gift without worrying about losing your favorite bakeware. Sure, they’re convenient. But attractive? Not so much. Paper bakeware solves that problem with modern shapes and designs that are just as convenient as foil pans and infinitely more special.

These aren’t liners. They’re designed to go directly into the oven, and they can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees without losing their color. You don’t have to grease the paper pans, there are
no messy dishes to scrub, and you can serve or gift your baked goods in the same pan you used for baking.

Paper bakeware is relatively new in the U.S., but it’s a staple in Japan. Rich Aslanian and Sam Sheppard, founders of Welcome Home Brands, teamed with Temma Shiki of Japan, a global leader in paper bakeware, to bring these innovative pieces to the U.S. Available in classic sizes including round cake pans, bundt pans, loaf pans and baking cups, the paper bakeware is ideal for parties, when you want to create a coordinated presentation. When you’re baking for someone else, you can make your cakes, breads and casseroles look as great as they taste -- without having to ask for your serving dish to be returned.

Hello Grommeteers. We are excited that Daily Grommet is introducing you to our award winning paper bakeware today. Paper bakeware has been popular in Japan for years and we believe the US market will be just as enchanted with this attractive solution for an effortless way to "bake, serve, store and give." We are at the International Home and Houseware's Show today introducing our bakeware to stores around the world so I will be unable to be here today with you. However, I am confident that your questions can be answered by either the product testers at Daily Grommet or by Julie, one of our sales representatives, who are here today for you.

I was wondering if you plan on making some in the future with other designs for holidays and special occasions. I would be much more interested if they had snow flakes, Fall leaves in Yellow, Orange and Brown, Holly branches, Menorahs, Balloons, Solid Pastels in Blue, Pink, Yellow or Green, Red white and blue stripes etc. Patterns that could still be generic but would fit more with gift giving. The patterns and colors you offer don't do much for me.

@Linda: You can be assured that they will be introducing new patterns throughout the year.

What is the size of the loaf pans? Is there any thought to having two sizes of loaf pans?

  • Katherine

@rosanna: They are 7.1" x 2.5" x 1.8". Which is larger than a mini loaf but smaller than a standard loaf.

How about making the paper recycleable?? We have enough 'stuff' in our landfills!!

Nice idea for gifting however instead of foil or plastic.

I've been SEARCHING for this exact thing for years! Actually, I've been searching for a lovely disposable pie pan, as I bake & take pies much more frequently than cakes or bread. Any chances of pie pans in the lineup down the road? And what retailers are you looking at in the US? I don't want this to be my only chance to buy, and if it is, I need to stock up! Thanks so much,

@Beth: Great suggestion for the pie pan!

We would love it if you chose to make your purchase through Daily Grommet as sales of the products we feature are the only way we earn money to keep doing what we do.

Have you run out of loaf pans? When I try to check out it tells me that they are unavailable, but I'd love to purchase them!

I was wondering - what is the capacity of the loaf pans? Will it hold a 'standard' recipe of 1 lb. yeast bread and/or the equivalent of a quick bread?

    Thnx!

@Kirsten -- I tested the loaf pans with my standard banana bread, (which normally fits a loaf or a 9x9 square pan) and it used two of the Welcome Home loaf pans. This was ideal, actually. I shared one at the office and put one in the freezer for another day!

The designs are cute and tempting but use of virgin paper is disappointing. Moreover there is no way the paper is recyclable as the absorbed grease makes it non-recyclable.

@Monica Singhal: You're right. This would be recyclable if it were not for the food residue. We found it to be a much better alternative to the aluminum bakeware that so many people use to bring food to friends' houses or for when the host big parties at their own house.

    Hi,

Is there only one color I can choose from, pink or blue ? Do you have an option where I can place order for all bake ware including the loaf pans, but in different colors, rather than only one color for all? Please let me know.

    Thank you,

    Kal

@Kal: We're glad you like these! You are correct, these are the assortments that are currently available. We are not able to offer the bakeware in a mix-n-match assortment.

I would like to know if these products are guaranteed gluten free and if I can get the bundt pans in smaller bundles -- I really don't need 125. Thanks!
