Stuck on You

Just in time for college care packages, autumn birthdays and the year-end holidays, TapeSwell will make your packages stand out in a crowd. Working as a photo stylist, Eileen Eisele (pictured) wondered why packing tape and shipping labels were always such a boring brown, clear or washed-out white color. Why not make them pretty, textural and fun to use? Just like that, inspiration struck and she set out to give packing materials a makeover. Eileen’s TapeSwell decorative tape and mailing labels have wonderfully bold graphics and modern patterns. Watch the artist in you take over as you contemplate their multiple uses. You can frame your kids’ artwork, perk up storage containers, or customize jars of homemade jam for gift giving. There’s no reason to settle for boring tape when you can have something that’s chic, distinctive and tacky — in the best sense of the word.

I’ve found in life that there is a way to do just about anything with more style. Think about tape for instance, sure it’s sticky but it doesn’t have to be tacky! If you are a person who pays attention to the details and carefully considers what is on the outside of a package as well as what’s on the inside, then you are a TapeSwell person! It doesn’t need to be extravagant or expensive just thought out and clever. TapeSwell adds pizzazz and pop to any special delivery you have. Cover up old barcodes and seal with style with our extensive line of practical pretty packing tape and mailing labels. I'll be checking in throughout the day and would love to hear any comments that you have!

I think this is such a cool idea. I send lots of packages over the holidays and the boxes are always so drab. Will you have any holiday-themed tapes coming out?

I hope you can see how pretty these tapes are on the video. We get so many packages shipped here at Grommet and they all look exactly alike. How cool to have a plain boring brown shipping box jazzed up with these tapes. I think in some cases, you could skip wrapping the gift inside if the outside looks so nice.

Would you use these tapes on the outside of boxes that you are mailing? Are they just decorative or are they strong enough to reinforce packages for the US mail?

These tapes turn the ordinary into something special. And isn't it the small, special treats that make your day? My mom has always been an amazing wrapper. Her gift wrapping and mailed packages are always so neat with wonderful personal touches. These are perfect for me to help me jazz up packages and -- a perfect gift for mom. Thanks Eileen.

This is one of those ideas that when you see it, the first thing you think is either a) why did it take so long for some one to come up with that?! OR and maybe more to the point, b) Why didn't I think of that!?. I think the labels are wonderful. Can you write on them with a regular pen, or is some type of special marker required? Can't tell from the phot if they are made out of paper or tape. Thanks!

@Hannah, the Mailing label tape is a 4" roll with perforations every 4.25" so the labels are nice and large. They come 120 count to a roll. The tape is paper and can be written on with most any kind of pen, sharpies work really well.Eileen

    Thanks!! I love it!!

I'm a middle school teacher and my students just love these tapes. I have used them for perking up old binders, decorating folders and just recently I added the label to the inside of a new book. The student who reads the book first gets to add his name to the "First Read By:" label. At home, we love using the tape for gift wrapping too. Fabulous new product!
