Lo-Lo Paper Treats

Personalized Stationery Gift Set

Personal Treat

Sure, it’s fast and easy to say thank you or happy birthday on e-mail or Facebook, but some occasions deserve something more personal. With stationery from Lo-Lo Paper Treats, you can share your message on a handwritten note that has real substance. This vibrant line of personalized paper products was created by Laurey Levy, a graphic designer with a fine arts degree and a great eye for color. A few years ago, Laurey decided to put her own signature and style on her correspondence. She began by making gift labels and cards for the birthday parties her children attended. Her hobby turned into a business after her friends started asking for their own personalized stationery.

We’re featuring four of Laurey’s favorite designs: Pom Pom, Whimsy, Sweet Flower and Cherry Blossom. Each collection comes cleverly packaged in a printed bakery box tied with baker’s twine (perfect for gift-giving). Inside the box, you’ll find one large and one small personalized notepad each with 140 sheets and a collection of personalized birthday, thank you and thinking-of-you note cards. Laurey creates and prints these in her own studio on heavy, recycled natural stock. The paper feels great in your hand – something you really can’t say about those electronic greetings.

Hi Laurey- Love your designs. I'm wondering if you ever create personal calling cards--like a business card but with personal info.?

Yes, I've been thinking about doing these. I'm sure down the road I will be working with The Daily Grommet on new items!

Your designs are simple and fresh yet very stylish. I'm always so envious of people who have that design eye to be able to put together just the right color combinations, fonts and design elements to get something so pleasing to the eye. I can't do it, but I can appreciate it! Were you always good at that, or did it come with practice and experience?

You are too kind. I think I owe it all to my mom!!! She used to collect [and never throw out anything]. Her home is stuffed with eclectic design and piles of papers and magazines. So I went the other way! Less is more. I do think it's something that is somewhat innate, but I have hung around some very talented people and I think that in life, it's a good to be around people that inspire you! Thank you so much for your compliments.

Laurey, these are so simple and beautiful. I saw them in our office and fell for them! A friend is looking for a going away gift for a neighbor who is moving and I am going to suggest these. Kate, great job on your first Grommet video! Your GreenSewn scarf looks gorgeous!

Thanks Sara & Laurey! The team made it fun, and of course, Laurey, Lo-Lo Paper Treats is great. I love the details in your designs, and I think my favorite part is the bakery box tied with string.

Laurey - I LOVE your stationery! I would really like to get a set for a friend - but she has a very long hyphenated name. Can you make the design work with a name that has about 25 characters in total (including spaces)? Thanks!

Hi Sam, This does come up but I can absolutely make it work. Typically what I do is repeat the name two times instead of three and it looks just as beautiful.

    Hi Laurey!

I adore your graphics and you really pull everything together with your simple and clean packaging. I would love to pick your brain regarding printing. Is there a way you can email me and we can chat? Thanks!
