Create a Scent-sation

When guests walk into your home, you want them to be greeted with a welcoming, pleasing scent. Let Sweet Grass Farm’s fragrance sticks be your genie in a bottle. Fragrance sticks or reed diffusers have been popular for a while now, but some hit you over the head with a cloying, overpowering smell. Sweet Grass Farm’s have just the right intensity. Deb Ludington, the founder of Sweet Grass Farm, insists on using only pure fragrance oils undiluted by water or fillers. Her fragrance sticks are easy to use and elegant to look at. The absorbent reeds wick up the oil, which evaporates when it hits the air and releases a discreet but sweet scent. If the sticks get dry, you just turn them upside down in the clear glass jar for a fresh wave of fragrance. At Daily Grommet’s headquarters, we’ve been using Sweet Grass Farm diffusers for more than two years. The scents are incredible. Pure Lavender captures the iconic, herbal scent of lavender, while New England Woods smells like fresh pine and holidays. Fig & Cedarwood is exotic and woody, Lemon Verbena melds bright lemon with an earthy base, and Citrus Blossom exudes the floral sweetness of orange blossom. These fragrance sticks make a great gift for your favorite friends, hosts, dorm dwellers or yourself. Deb likes to say that sprays and incense are out, and fragrance sticks are in. We think she’s got it just right. The nose knows.

My name is Lynn and I love that our scents have been floating through the Daily Grommet offices for years! Sweet Grass Farm is a small family run business fixated on creating wonderful smelling home and bodycare products. We've combined super absorbent natural reeds with wonderful fragrance and essential oils in a beautiful glass bottle to create our Fragrance Sticks. We don't dilute them with water, or harsh solvents, so there is long lasting performance. They are very pleasant to look at, like a bouquet of flowers! I am here to answer any questions you may have for me today!

Hi, I am very intrigued by this product. I like that it is not diluted and also that it is a small family business. I am very interested in the scents and hope you can recommend a scent or two for me. I stay away from sweet sugary scents. I do want something that you will smell as so as you walk in the door. I trust Daily Grommet. Thanks so very much!

@Dianne I have the same taste in scents. I like clean and fresh scents. I would recommend Lavender or New England Woods. The others are in no way sweet and sugary smelling but these two are classics and make for a nice scent when walking in the door.

    Hi Dianne,

I would recommend using the Lavender Fragrance Stick, as we use Pure Lavender Essential Oil. This gives you a light, true & herbal fragrance.

I have a question or two. How long does an 8oz. bottle last? If we decide we do not like the scent can we return this?? If so, do we get our money back or choose another scent?? Thank You, Nancy Is the 8oz. $29.95??

@nancy - The office sticks have lasted for 2 years. The life of the fragrance sticks depends on how often you flip the sticks but because the oil does not have alcohol or fillers they do last longer. The oil does get a little darker over time but it's not unattractive. Yes, the fragrance kit that includes the reeds, the fragrance oil, and the decorative bottle is $29.95. We have a 30-day return policy. Unless the product is defective, you would be responsible for the shipping to return the product. You would be refunded your purchase price and tax but not the shipping amount.

I have cats who love to knock things off shelves. Nikita looks at a glass container and thinks, "One big glass thing! LOTS of little glass things!" She once faced me down as she sat on my fireplace mantle with a glass votive candle-holder in front of her. I said, "Don't even THINK about it." She gave me a ready-aim-fire look and without breaking eye contact swatted that votive-holder clear across the room. Many pieces. Cat in ecstasy. Human in tears.

Do these wonderful fragrances come in bottles, like essential oils? You know - something that a cat can't knock over or chew?

@Cynaera - oh my! And they can tell the difference between a clear plastic bottle and a glass bottle? That's a funny story. The oils come in a plastic bottle, it wouldn't be as decorative as the included decanter and it would still be something a cat could knock over. This may not be the right solution for you!

I'm not seeing a variety of scents on your Grommet website today. Also, didn't find the domain of the supplier may be available for sale. WHAT is happening? A friend just raved over my lemon verbena and I may be interested in purchasing another scent. Is it still possible? In a word: HELP!!!

@Gail van den Berg: Good news! We do have the lemon verbena available. Once you select the option of 'Farmhouse fragrance sticks' you will be given the choice of which scent to select.
