Heated or Cooled Seats

Stay Warm on the Sidelines

The fall sports season is about to kick off. Are you ready to enjoy it?

We’ve found spectator seats that make it easy to kick back and enjoy the action in total comfort. PolarHeat’s portable seats have built-in coolers for carrying drinks and snacks. Plus, there’s a compartment under the seat surface that holds a hot pack or a cold pack, so you can heat your seat on chilly days and cool down on hot days.

The Oversized Quad Chair is a freestanding chair with two insulated cup holders. Soft-sided coolers are built into
the removable armrests and can hold up to 24 cans plus ice. After the event, it folds up for carrying in a backpack-style bag. The Metal Frame Stadium Seat is a folding chair that you can set up on top of a bench seat, bleachers or the ground. You can adjust the hinged backrest if you want to sit upright or recline. It has a fabric storage pouch, plus a soft-sided cooler compartment with room for 10 cans plus ice.

Imagine heading to a kid’s game, tailgating party, campfire, or outdoor concert with one of these PolarHeat seats. They’re convenient, comfortable, and have their own storage. Best of all, PolarHeat’s hot and cold seat packs are a brilliant way to fight off the elements so you can focus on the game. Who says you need a luxury suite to have a great seat?

Grommet Launch Conversation

We’re so excited to be a part of the Daily Grommet again with our heated/cooled sports seats! The original concept for PolarHeat seats was born on a brutally cold January day at a collegiate bowl game. Like all true fans, there is little we won’t endure to support our team, but four plus hours of first rain, then sleet, then snow pushed us to the very limit of our loyalty! Shortly thereafter, the very first PolarHeat portable heated seat came into being. With feedback from outdoor enthusiasts from around the country, the product line has continued to evolve. My husband and I love to use our seats for camping and tailgating…and we know you will love yours! I’m looking forward to answering any questions you have and helping spread the warmth!

We liked the roomy side pockets on the Quad Chair because they not only kept our food and drinks chilled but also acted as a kind of side table to hold snacks. We take it camping and it frees us from balancing our food and drinks in our laps or bringing another table. The pockets really come in handy.

    Hi Michele -

The MCC (Quad Chair) seat has been weight rated to 350 lbs. The HTC (Stadium Chair) seat has been weight rated to 300 lbs. Good question!

Also, on the stadium seat there are heavy duty metal clips on the bottom of the seat that will clip to the bleachers to keep the user from rocking backwards! It is really handy!

Apologies to anyone who cannot see this Grommet video...there's an issue outside our control happening. We are pushing hard to get it resolved.

How long will the Stadium Seat packs remain hot or cold?

Hi Joan - The hot packs heat to an excess of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and will remain at that temperature for 12+ hours. They are a one-time use product. The cold packs will stay cool for 2 hours when used in the soft-sided coolers as an ice substitute and they are reusable.

What is the MAX weight capacity for the chair? I have seen some chairs that can carry my weight however they are hard to find.

@Frank - Lauren from PolarHeat tells us the chairs have been tested up to 250lbs. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I was curious about the weight rating for the chairs, so I looked to the comments section to see if I might find my answer there. However there seems to be some discrepancy. One comment answer dated September 08, 2010 tells us that the MCC Quad Chair is weight rated to 350 lbs. and the HTC Stadium Chair is weight rated to 300 lbs. Another comment answer dated September 21, 2010 informs us that "Lauren" from PolarHeat tells us that the chairs have been tested up to 250 lbs., with no distinction between Quad Chair or Stadium Chair.

For a large individual such as myself, that is quite a discrepancy. Could you please indicate the actual true weight rating on these chairs? I would be appreciative of the information. Thank you!

@Frank @Lisa - We apologize for the confusion. The weight limits are as Lauren stated initially 350 for the Quad Chair and 300 for the Stadium Chair.
