Lost on 1st run!

Unfortunately, the PowerSpurz came off during my first time using it. It was lost and I was out $25. I would not recommend it.

Pops off

8/13/2014 by Tex

Concept is a 5. Visibility is a 4 or 5 -- I've noticed that like many LED items, some are brighter than others, and this the case with mycase with my 4id items.

Performance, however, is a flat ZERO and thus, at $20 a pop, plus S&H, I don't consider these to be disposable, and yet they routinely work themselves off at anything over a 3mph walk... and even then, they have still managed to pop off. Maybe a velcro strap, like the arm bands might work.

I love the product as a concept, but I've given up trying to even trot with the spurs because I had to go back for them 9x tonight, on a 2-mile walk/jog and 3 other times I noticed them starting to gap and about to pop off, so I had to stop again and re-seat them.

They didn't seem as bad during the first few uses but it's almost like the teeth lost their grip or the compression in the flex loosened.

PowerSpurz - Not for cycling

6/7/2014 by Scott

I bought a pair of PowerSpurz to use while on my road bike. Unfortunately, I didn't get 200 meters before my crankarm knocked one of the lights off my shoes. They are just too thick to be used with any of my bikes. Too bad too, I like the idea but they just didn't work out.More > < Less

4id : Wearable Safety Lights

About 4id

Night Light

Night owls and 4id Founders, Ron Biron and Rodger Bailey, strive to keep active people safe with their light bands. They’re a great addition to regular exercise gear and slip on easily with no extra bulk.

Wrap them around the heel of your sneaker or bicep, or attach a light-up leash to your canine companion to increase your visibility. The ultra-bright LEDs last for hours, and you can set them to glow continuously or flash. And each light is weatherproof, so you’ll have an extra measure of safety in any conditions.

Whether you’re walking to work early in the morning, or out for an evening jog, you’ll have additional peace of mind from this bright idea.
