Torso Trim Shapewear

Sexy Back

Most women are pears. They’ve got thigh shapers and control top stockings that probably work well to control their below-the-belt bulges. Then again, I wouldn’t know. I’m one of those thick-waisted apples. I have drawers full of long-line bras, and suffocating tank tops that are meant to control my below-the-bra bulge, but have never really successfully kept that pesky bit o’ back fat under wraps.

The problem with most of these contraptions is that what gets squeezed tends to pop out somewhere else (cups runneth over,
the bra rides up to reveal an unsightly roll around the waist, and some lump somewhere I’d rather people not feel, greets them the second they hug me hello).

Then I tried Sassybax. What I loved was that unlike some of the upper body shaping get-ups I’ve tried in the past, the version I tested had underwire cups (where there’s back fat, there’s boobage, I always say). The bottom of the garment went down to the waist—where miraculously, no lumps or rolls snuck out. Everything that needed to be smoothed was smoothed, everything that needed to be lifted was lifted, and everything that needed to stay put, stayed put. I could breathe, too (somehow that shouldn’t be last on my list, however, as those experienced with shapewear know, it’s an unexpected but thoroughly welcome surprise).

Hey apples: Come out, come out wherever you are! Tell us what you think of Sassybax, and whether you’ll be wearing shapewear like this.

Okay - maybe it's not polite to talk about your back fat! But we like to "keep it real" here at Daily Grommet, and well, this is absolutely a reality that needs dealing with for a lot of women out there. Another thing I should note is that after having a baby, many women (myself included) find their midsection is never quite the same, so this product could come in handy for mommies of all shapes and sizes (not just us apples). Tell us what you think - and what shapewear you'll be sporting New Year's Eve...

OK tried on some deep discount stuff at the mall today and wished I had on that SassyBax...too many Christmas cookies. I bought nothing but a big fat thick coat that could hide a pregnancy.

Yep, these bras are the real deal, I'll tell you. So you can bet that I'll be wearing one on New Year's Eve. I hate the whole bra bulge thing when I see it. There's just no excuse to have it when there's a bra like this around. Thanks for spreading the word, DailyGrommet!

OMG, back fat. A DREADED subject. Along with tummy fat, this is my most hated type of fat, if there is one. I once ended up not buying an absolutely fabulous dress because of the way my back looked in it. Need to check this out.

It's easy to get behind a product that really works and solves a problem. We literally could not get your first samples off of Joanne. I think she has worn a Sassybax everyday since they arrived. Not to mention a few others of us.....I loved Emily's story about greeting someone and dreading the more!

"Fits up to DD cup??? Are you kidding? Without specific cup sizes, this garment is going to be worthless to women on either end of this range. Nice copy but not real.

@scottsdalebubbe: When you go to their site there is a chart where you cross reference your pants size and your bra size to find the size that is best for you. So a 10-A cup isn't wearing the same size as a 10-DD
