Pills Be Gone

Back in the day, it was very fashionable for young teenage girls to have a collection of crew neck Shetland wool sweaters in every color. There was only one small problem. After a few wearings, the wool sweaters would pill up and become unsightly. One could remedy the situation by: A) Painstakingly pulling off each pill by hand. B) Buying a device that looked like a small comb with teeth meant to pull off the strings but mostly pulled out the weave. C) Sending it to the dry cleaners, usually a costly choice that waged wear and tear on the fabric. D) Wrapping masking tape around your hand and brushing it over the sweater, an ineffective method. E) Giving it a shave with a battery-powered razor of sorts, that could cause disaster if it got hold of a loose thread. Today beautiful cashmere sweaters are sought by men, women, teens alike. They are warm without being bulky and come in an assortment of soft colors. However they too, like their siblings before them, tend to ball and pill. Thank goodness someone was listening and invented the Sweater Stone. Shaped like a mini eraser, the Sweater Stone is made from an all-natural pumice-like material that is environmentally safe, saves your best clothes from the torment of dry cleaning, and takes up less space in the coat closet than a mitten. This cottage industry firm in Washington State has been in business for 18 years and employs the disabled. And the stone will restore the nap, and make your knits, synthetics, and sweaters look new again in no time. That's progress!

Sweater Stone solves this problem today and will do so for many years. Our mission has been to provide a tool that honestly works, is natural, made of recycled packaging and employ the functionally disabled.

Dear Daily Grommet and Friends! You have found a product that actually does what it says and even more. I have had three sweaterstones over the course of years. The easiest way for me to explain the great job it does on garmets, upholstery fabrics, and even your carpet is that it does not shave the nap or texture. Some how this magic stone understands the surface, removes what is unsitely and make it new again. Sarah

Hi, I get an email everyday for Daily Grommet and in the one I received today there was a link to click that said I could get a Sweater Stone for free if I just pay shipping and handling. Well, when I got to the page that tells you what to do, down at the bottom it has a disclaimer that says it must be postmarked by 12/31/2009. Maybe you should check if the deal is still going before providing a link to something that is not available anymore. Or get them to change their disclaimer to a later date if the deal is still on.
