Your Go-To Bag

Like so many good ideas, Go GaGa Bags were conceived on a cocktail napkin. Surrounded by new parents lamenting their inability to find a hip, comfortable, and daddy-friendly diaper bag, Jill Cartwright started to doodle something completely different. The result? A brilliant, utilitarian bag that’s not just for diapers. It looks cool on both women and men, holds diapers or laptops, baby bottles or wine bottles, and rests comfortably on your shoulder thanks to a unique, ergonomic strap. The shoulder strap in particular is what got Team Grommet most excited about these bags. It's not a narrow strap but a wider piece of fabric that you can stretch across your shoulder and back to better distribute the weight. You'll appreciate the difference the minute you try it on. (In fact, the comfortable strap is so popular, Go GaGa is now selling it individually so you can convert other bags.) Go GaGa Bags come in two styles and multiple color combinations (some made of durable ballistic nylon, and some using recycled materials), and they've all got that amazing strap. Jill has also branched into accessories, including her handy Stuff Sack. This waterproof/odor-proof/leak-proof bag is perfect for half-eaten lunches, soiled diapers, wet swimsuits or sweaty gym clothes. There’s also the generously sized Nomad Changing Pack, which has a mesh pocket that’s big enough to hold diapers, wipes and rash cream. No matter what stage of life you’re in, Go GaGa has something that will make it easier to tote your essentials... and your neck and shoulders will thank you for it!

I had a terrific time telling Jules about our collection and all of the ways you can use our ergonomic totes, whether carrying a laptop or diapers or gear for the yoga studio. I wanted to create a bag that was both fashionable and comfortable, so I developed our unique strap which spreads the weight of the bag across your back and shoulder.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be checking in…

Carol you're so right! I'm a natural klutz, so it was no surprise when I dropped my last laptop. After watching pieces of plastic fly as it hit the ground, I decided that I needed a comfortable solution so that I didn’t mind carrying my computer in a bag. I use our Gondola to carry my laptop everywhere I go. It's made all the difference in the world!

This bag has saved my life ( and my shoulders!) i travel almost every week for business, and my laptop is safe and secure in this bag, and i barely feel the weight of it! i even have to admit that the bottle pockets are so deep that a TSA agent didn't even find my 8 oz bottle of water that i'd mistakenly left inside!! I recommend the messenger style if you have a computer 15" or larger, it;s easier to get out of the compartment at airport security! Thanks for an indespensable product, Jill!!!

OK, so we own two of these bags! I use mine as a laptop bag and we have another as our diaper bag. I just want to say that a lot of diaper bags are pretty "feminine" in their styling and might make me feel a little uncomfortable, but these bags are very unisex, gender neutral, etc. And I have a lot of upper back tension so lugging my laptop through airports and back & forth to work has always been a problem. Thank you Jill for making a universally useful (and cool-looking) bag.

The nylon is incredibly resilient - I've been carrying the same model for over a year now, and it's still as buoyant as the first time I picked it up. The material is weight rated for 400 lbs, so it can definitely handle a lot of weight at once and is also engineered to hold up over time. Thanks for asking!

I recently visited my brother and his family, and they use their Go Ga Ga bag to carry everything for their 2-1/2 -year old. As I carried their bag during my visit I thought -- WOW -- I'm not a parent, but I am a teacher who carries around a laptop and lots of other stuff....I should have one of these, too! Organizationally smart, ergonomically amazing, and cool to look at, too.

How does it hold up to carrying books and binders in it? Does it fit well?

Our daughter received one of these great bags as a baby gift. When I first took the baby out I wasn't looking forward to lugging a bulky diaper bag along with the baby. When she put the bag on my shoulder I couldn't believe how comfortable it felt. Thank goodness for forward looking people who make life much easier even for a grandma. I'm thinking of getting my husband one for his computer.

@Donna Moore I am using the red one (Messenger) now for my laptop bag. As we said in the video, you want to go with that style for a 15" laptop. You can go with one of the others for a smaller laptop. I did use the blue one (Gondola) for my 15" but it was hard to get it in and out.
