Airfree

Silent Purifier

Airfree is an air purifier for mold, dust mites, and other allergens that works stealthily to clean the air in your space. Because there are no moving parts or fans, the purifier is completely silent. And it’s close-to-effortless to operate, too—simply turn it on and leave it on for consistently cleaner air. A ceramic core is the source of the cleansing magic. It continually draws in air through convection and sterilizes it with heat that’s over 400 degrees. The heat kills irritants and allergens in the air like pet dander, bacteria, viruses, and pollens. The freshly cleaned air is cooled super-fast—in just seconds—and sent back out into the room. There are no filters to change and different purifiers to suit the size of your space. It’s a low-energy, but high-powered alternative to getting cleaner air.

Quick Questions

How do I know if Airfree is no longer working?

Check the top lid, if it’s cold, the sterilization system is not working. Please connect it to another outlet and make sure the unit is in its vertical position for at least one minute.

How long does it take to clean the air in a room?

Airfree takes 15 minutes to start cleaning air in a room. To have the air in entire room cleaned, it takes about 2 weeks, left on 24/7.

Should I turn off Airfree when I leave the house?

No. Airfree must be always on. There are safety features in place for this reason. It will shut off if it's not in an upright position. There is also a safety device that will turn off the unit if it gets too hot or if someone drops it.

Airfree is supposed to run 24/7. How much electricity will that consume?

Airfree has low electricity cost compared to the other air purifiers on the market. The power consumption is around 45W, which is about the same as having a light bulb on 24/7.

How does Airfree destroy viruses?

Those microscopic microorganisms are eliminated inside Airfree’s ceramic core capillaries. Contrary to other technologies, the smaller the microorganisms the easier they are destroyed inside the ceramic core capillaries.

How does Airfree destroy dust mites?

Mold reduction in the environment causes reduction in the mold-dependent dust mite population. Airfree also destroys the harmful toxins and fungus freed into the air by dust mite feces and skeletons that trigger respiratory allergies and asthma.

How does Airfree eliminate fungi and molds?

Airfree eliminates airborne microorganisms including molds, fungi, and spores. By eliminating spores, new mold colonies are unlikely to develop, representing less future airborne mold spores. Please check the independent mold tests at Airfree's website.

Where do the microorganisms go after they are destroyed?

All living microorganisms decompose into carbon dioxide and water. Some carbon may remain inside the device or over the top lid during the process. It should be noted that this all happens at a microscopic level.

Does CADR measure the effectiveness of the Airfree?

No. CADR indicates volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. The reason why CADR is not designed for Airfree is because Airfree does not filter but destroys microorganisms instead. This reduction of bacteria, molds, viruses, and other microorganisms can only be measured after air sample incubation in a microbiology lab.
