Guardian® Bells

Good Luck Charms

Put a ring on it

With Guardian® Bells, you can give the gift of good fortune. Maker Adam Hizme, a second-generation jeweler, creates these handsome pewter bells in Arizona for the purpose of bestowing good luck upon their recipients.

The use of bells as a channel for positive energy dates back to antiquity. Across cultures, continents, and
religions, bells have been rung to banish evil spirits at ceremonies, funerals, and even in everyday life. It’s considered good feng shui to have a bell on your door, which acts as a beacon for welcome news and prevents bad energy from entering. On the other end of the spectrum, many serious bikers attach bells to the bottom of their rides—a decades-old custom believed to ward off mishaps and mechanical failures.

Thanks to Guardian® Bells, you can grant this tradition of protection upon anyone. Attach one to a backpack, keychain, boat, locker door, or anyplace else. According to legend, the bells have twice as much power when given as a gift. Choose a design that fits your loved one’s style, and present them with a double dose of good luck.

    You can hear it slightly in the video but of course they are not ringing it very loud. They have a nice angelic tone to their ring. Each bell has its own unique sound!

  • Adam

    1/30/2015 1:01 PM

    @Christina

    It is tin, bismuth, antimony and copper and a trace amount of lead. The tin is from Indonesia and the remaining metals are both foreign and domestic sources and the raw materials are all alloyed in Rhode Island to come up with the composition needed to make the bells ring.-

    There is a very practical use for these bells. I just ordered 3 . I have a bell attached to my main key ring. This allows me to shake my purse, coat, etc. to find my keys. Now I can attach to my other key rings with added advantage of adding good luck!

    As I was placing my order, the stock kept disappearing from my order. It happened four times This is incredibly frustrating. This was in a manner of one to two minutes. If there is not enough stock, it should not be offered. I really want these by Chinese New Year!

    Wow, even though the video says it's easy to find the perfect bell, I have no idea how most of the names correspond to which bells. Although watching the vid used up all my internet for the day, I plowed through, hoping the answer of who's who was in there, but no luck. You've got all those pictures of various bells -- how hard would it be to name them???

    Oops, please disregard my previous comment, as I realize now the problem was in my weak ass internet (there's only satellite out where I live, and it's SLOW). If I wait a really long time, the drop down will show me which bell is which. Unfortunately, the only one I was interested in -- the ropelike looking one? -- does not appear to be available.

    In the photos of the bells, I thought I saw one that looks like it says "Guardian" on it? But it is not in the options for ordering.

    I want to order FOUR of them for my dogs and put one on each of their collars. Do you have Guardian bells in stock, or anything related to protecting dogs?

    Hey there Grommeteers. What a wild ride the Guardian Bells launch proved to be. We knew it would be very strong , but not this strong! We spent all of Friday chasing down any possible inventory but if you read the comments above you will see that it was hard to move as fast as this community. From my seat as Grommet CEO, I wanted to thank you for your patience. Sometimes we catch a tiger by the tail and it is hard to keep up with all of you. When we work with emerging products it would require a crystal ball to be 100% accurate about your reactions. Thanks again for your patience.

The launch day conversation has ended. Please direct further questions about this Grommet to our Community Experience Team.
