AZURRO

Rotate & Clip

AZURRO Maker and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mark McBride had the same hang-ups with nail clippers as many other folks—namely awkward angles, uncomfortable pinching action, and flimsy construction. When Mark looked to invest in the best clippers he could find to eliminate these aggravations, he discovered the best clippers didn’t exist yet. It was up to him to make them. Mark teamed up with some fellow surgeons to engineer these rotary nail clippers. They applied their hands-on experience with surgical tools to make their sturdy clippers have a more ergonomic design that rests in the palm of your hand—a particularly good fit for those with dexterity issues. No pinching motion with your fingers needed here, just a squeeze of your hand triggers the super-sharp stainless blade. That blade can rotate 180 degrees to sidestep the weird hand positioning that can lead to cramps, aches, and (ouch) miss-cuts. The blade leaves a clean cut and is so sharp you might only need one go to get the job done.

Quick Questions

Can I clip my toenails with the Clipperpro?

This particular model is primarily designed for fingernails as the blade features a curved design. If your toenails are very thick you may experience some issues as the gap between the blades is about the average size of most fingernail clippers. However, the CLIPPERPRO should be able to cut most toenails.

Does it lock in place when you have it at the right angle?

To ensure the blade will not swivel while clipping, twist the blade 90° to the left side of the clipper to clip your nails on your left hand. Simply rotate the blade 180° to the other side to repeat the process on the opposite hand or foot. This allows you to push the blade against the far side while clipping your nails.

What are the blades made out of?

The blades are made out of high-quality, surgical-grade 420 stainless steel.

How sharp are the blades?

The Clipperpro blades are sharp enough to easily cut through a credit card. This is a feature that is not possible on most standard nail clippers.

What material are the handles made out of?

The handles are made of a durable zinc die cast.
