Baby Bag & Bassinet

Family Function

When you’re out and about with a baby or toddler, you need to be prepared for almost anything. EquiptBaby is ready.

No detail was left out in this bag. An insulated cooler pocket keeps up to six bottles cold (along with some snacks). The optional bassinet is the first of its kind, like an infant-sized tent that unfolds in
seconds. Made of SPF 50 ripstop nylon, it’s a portable place for baby to nap indoors or out. In fact, that’s how EquiptBaby came to be.

Busy mom Kristin Hatfield was spending time with family and realized there was nowhere for her baby to sleep nearby. She looked online, in vain, for a portable bassinet. So she designed her own, and the ultimate baby bag to carry it in.

EquiptBaby is partially made of recycled plastic. The accordion sides easily expand. The gender-neutral colors are sophisticated but functional—the light interior helps to find what you need, fast. The flat, plastic base keeps the bag stable when it’s on a surface. It washes off easily, too, so no worrying about where you place it. (It isn’t unduly heavy, either.)

Take EquiptBaby to the park, the beach, to visit family— it’s the perfect bag for a parent on the go.

I have a concern about the tent Could a slightly older awake baby get body parts (e.g. head) stuck between the hoop frame and the fabric?Roll it over on top of themselves? Otherwise it looks like a great little baby nest-to think I put mine on a mere blanket.

@Jann The bassinet has secure mesh netting and rip stop nylon through out design. We are confident that baby cannot get their head through the fabric.

The dimensions of the bassinet are below:

    L 28 in x W 28in x H 18 in

The bassinet is designed for babies 0-6 months of age. We suggest discontinuing use when baby has the ability to roll over.

    Thank you for your comment!

@Katie Great, EquiptBaby looks forward to your experiencing our product. The bassinet is great for indoor or outdoor use. The bassinet is made with rip stop nylon that has SPF 50 sewn in. The roll down mesh protects baby from the elements; dust, sand and bugs while providing baby ample air flow.
