Awesome! Worth the money

2/24/2014 by bflat

This is the best product I have bought in years. I use it as my gym drying towel. I previously froze while trying to dry off from my shower. Not anymore! I love it. I dry off quickly and no more freezing. I love this product so much I have ordered two towels in different sizes for my gym bag. I would definitely recommend this product.More > < Less

Love it!

Packed this towel for my trip to Maui because I knew I'd be taking a dip at all the waterfall sites along the Road to Hana. It's super soft, soaked up the water so that I dried quickly and then the towel itself dried fast! It also packs up really small so it took up very little space. One of the best purchases I've made :)More > < Less

Beach towel has its problems but like the lightweightedness.

5/21/2015 by Sheila

Due to the lightweightedness, I did have a problem stabilizing the towel on the beach on a windy day. But more iimportantly, I was anticipating that the sand was not going to stick to the towel when I picked it up to leave the beach. Instead, I was a little disappointed to see that the sand does stick to the towel where it is wet. And the sand did not release from the towel until it dried. But I do like its light weight, wish it were a little larger thoughMore > < Less

bareSkin at the gym

3/14/2014 by William

I have used this towel on several trips to the gym and found it to be quite absorbant. The towel feels nice on the skin and looks good. The towel dries very quickly and does not take on the wet dog smell so many gym towels have. I would suggest that a hoop or a button hole be placed on the towel to allow it to hang on a coat hook device outside of showers.More > < Less

BareSkin Towels - Quick-dry Technical Towels

About BareSkin

Fit for Active Duty

A traditional plush towel may look luxurious, but one trip to the beach or gym with a BareSkin and you’ll be rethinking your definition of a great towel.

The creator is Marni Montreal, who wanted a lightweight towel that would dry quickly and would shed sand rather than trapping it. Terrycloth was out. Traditional chamois was compact and didn't hold sand, but it dried stiff and sometimes smelly. After experimenting with a number of microfiber and sponge towels, she came up with BareSkin. Like chamois, this synthetic can hold up to three times its own weight in moisture, and it continues to work even when damp. BareSkin towels stay soft—and get softer with each washing—and are naturally anti-microbial. They also pack up tiny and dry 2-3 times more quickly than other towels, which cuts down on dryer use.

BareSkins are the perfect towels for people on the go. At the beach or on the boat, you won’t be weighted down by soggy, sandy conventional beach towels. They’re so effective you can even have family members share one BareSkin towel to save space in your bag. Use a BareSkin at the gym, and even if you forget it in your bag, it'll be dry and odor-free for the next time.

It’s the future of towel technology—soft, super-absorbent, fast-drying, anti-microbial, and space-age compact.
