6 Reasons to Attend The Grommet's Crowdfunding Weekend

crowdfunding, product launch

Imagine that you’ve got the perfect idea for a new product. You’ve done your research and you truly believe it could take off if given the right infrastructure and capital. Yet you don’t know how to cross that barrier. Pitching investors is one way to go, and for some people it’s the first step in the right direction. Yet you could bypass that initial headache and give crowdfunding a chance. Capital + market research in one. Voila!

OK - now how do you get started? Setting up a campaign, making a video, marketing that content - where does one start? It’s a daunting task on your own.

Enter Crowdfunding Weekend at The Grommet.

On Saturday, October 19th, swarms of hopeful crowdfunding campaigners will descend upon The Grommet as we host the first ever Boston Crowdfunding Weekend. Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. (Yes, 14 hours of fast paced, jam-packed fun!) attendees will learn and experience every aspect of how to create a successful crowdfunding campaign. So if you’re a budding or seasoned entrepreneur, get that idea out of your head and into motion. You’ll leave the event with the first step in your product’s creation done and we bet you’ll feel pretty good about it. Need more reasons to attend? Here are 6 of them.

  1. Learn first hand from industry professionals and experienced professors who know what it takes to succeed with crowdfunding.

  2. Network with The Grommet team, a product launch platform that’s launched close to 7,000 products since 2008. Get your idea in front of our curators early and you may even be our next Grommet launch.

  3. Eliminate that overwhelmed feeling - crowdfunding is easier than you think!

  4. Get your campaign video up and ready to go by end of day - need we say more?

  5. Rub elbows with Boston’s coolest entrepreneurs - maybe even find a co-founder!

  6. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and an AFTER party with handfuls of new friends.

Follow in the footsteps of companies like  Kubb and Tessel Jet Backpacks - both successfully funded (and over-funded!) after crowdfunding weekend.

So what are you waiting for? Learn more and register today.

I've had a 'shaver' that I bought at Sears about 10 years ago. It works for me on all my sweats, polo shirts, sweaters, etc. and has the Remington name on it. Five years after I bought it, I replaced the blades that were also bought at Sears. I'm happy.
