This week, Ericsson ConsumerLab released their annual report of upcoming consumer trends for 2015. Overall, they anticipate consumers will want technology and connectivity integrated into all facets of daily life. At The Grommet we launch products that integrate tech with daily life and it is a trend we plan to invigorate into the New Year and beyond.
It’s not too late to get some holiday shopping done or to take advantage of our guaranteed Christmas shipping (Dec. 16th), free 2-day shipping (Dec. 21st), or overnight shipping (Dec 22nd) so let’s see what Grommets are waiting to be given to the special people in your lives in need of a tech injection.
Check out our launch of Range, a cooking thermometer that uses your iOS device to notify you when your meal is ready for enjoying. Don’t shred the Instagram-perfect steak to check the color in the middle, stick one end of Range into the meat, plug the other end into your device, and sit back as the app will notify you on all your iOS devices when it is ready for serving.
Back for re-launch is IndieFlix. Ericsson predicts more people will watch streaming video than broadcast TV on a weekly basis in 2015. Why not join the fun and watch under-the-radar flicks for all ages and genre preferences in the process? An added bonus is the Film Festival in a Box which includes four short films and allows you to award “Best Picture,” “Best Actor,” ‘Best Actress,” and more to share online with your friends.
The world is changing. Technology is finding its way into every aspect of our lives and as Ericsson reports, that is just the way we want it. At The Grommet, we strive to discover products with strong stories and special purposes that advance this trend and bit-by-bit improve the daily facets of your life.
Wondering how a Grommet fits into your life? We’ve got you covered by featuring videos demonstrating how each product works. It’s our way of ensuring you’re understanding what you’re buying.
Stay tuned for more!
