Should this be a Grommet?

I spotted this in a fun shop in Pittsburgh. I think it's a really clever idea for keeping the wine glasses straight at a party. A set of 12 for about $140. Is that too expensive? Is it worth it?  They're nice quality and very generously sized.  But I'm a sucker for typography in unexpected places.  Does this idea do it for you?  Is it a Grommet?

I think these are great. I now buy only cheap wineglasses, as there are so many butterfingers in my family. I suppose if one or two break, that doesn't matter, as you still have unique numbers remaining. There are always questions as to whose wine glass is whose - especially when lots of folks are hanging out in the kitchen. My Mom thinks she can identify my Dad's wineglasses due to greasy finger markes. Some of us put ice in our wine to dilute the alchohol, which is another way. I do have a few of those little wine tag trinkets, but never remember to bring them out...
