Hits the Spots

Grommet Launch Conversation
-
Hello everyone! I'm proud to introduce B & N Laundry to The Grommet. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!
-
I have a canvas bag that I got some spots of red wine on. Can this be used on this and can I just rinse the spot out with water without having to wash the entire bag?
-
@Kelly yes Kelly. With red wine, first sprinkle salt on it. Let it sit for a bit. Then use the stain stick and rinse off.
-
How much in advance before washing can you use the stain stick?
-
@Lucinda it really depends on the stain, you can use and throw in the wash right away if it's a pretty basic stain and if it's a harder stain that's been washed and dried or left in the hamper, you may want to leave the stain remover on for a couple of hours.
-
Will it remove ink stains from a pocket on a dress shirt?
-
@Laura yes it will. It's even been successful on sharpie.
-
Can a shirt be pretreated when spilled on then not laundered for up to a week?
-
@Mary Jane yep! wait as long as you need to. We all forget things.
-
@Rachel thank you. Most products now require almost immediate washing and I just don't have that much laundry (thank goodness!)
-
@Mary Jane oops - forgot to say that those existing products end up bleaching the fabric of not laundered quickly - ugh!
-
Hello Rachel,
This looks like my kind of product! Thanks for designing it. Wondering, however, if a colored garment might essentially bleach out where the soap is applied if it isn't thrown into the wash immediately. Have you experimented with this? -
@JoAnne We have a ton of fans who put their children in all kinds of clothes and have never had an issue with it bleaching out. I myself have applied and left it on a stain for a couple of days and had no issues.
-
Mike---Can It remove flat paint stains on jeans
-
@Michael
-
@Michael we have had some customers have luck with paint. It's one of those things you kinda have to test out. The type of paint, color and how long it's been on the jeans is going to make a difference in the success.
-
Will it remove rust stains?
-
@Judith Great question. The closest thing to rust it's been tested on is red clay and it works. I haven't tested it on rust (now I want to) but if it gets out red clay and blood, I would think it would be able to lift out rust. Wish I had a more definite answer for you.
-
Does it work on underarm stains on men's white t shirts?
-
@Jan yes it does Jan!
-
@Rachel Do you need to let it sit for awhile or wash right away?
-
@Jan for that type of stain, I would say leave it on a couple of hours.
-
@Rachel I am ordering one right now! Thank you
-
@Jan thank you for your support
-
Is the soap stick effective for taking out oil spots on clothing?
-
@Clara Yes! That's it's favorite stain to remove.
