Can you move it from watch to watch, or is it designed to be attached to one watch only? Thank you!

@Susan Hi Susan - thanks so much for being interested! Yes, you can transfer from watch to watch. We use micro-suction that actually "suctions" the Chronos disc to the back of your watch. It's totally safe for your timepiece, leaves no sticky residue and can go from watch to watch easily.

I have to say that's a great idea. I would never wear a "smart watch" myself, because I feel they are so overstated. Sort of like, "Hey! Look at me! Proud owner of a smart watch here!"

But this is really minimalist and won't be noticed easily.

    Three questions.

First, what's the expected battery life on the product?

Second, can I replace the battery?

Third, do you make or plan to make a smaller "woman's watch" backing for the smaller watches out there?

And I am wondering if the device can be attached to a bracelet, etc. Does it have to be a watch?

@Jeff Hi Jeff - 1) the battery life is 2-3 days depending on how many notifications you set up. 2) The battery cannot be replaced but the product is recharegeable with our included charger. 3) This is our only product now but smaller versions are on our roadmap. While this is designed for a watch, it can be worn on other products too - we would love to see what you come up with!

    @Mark

Wonder if I could use it on my OSU (that's Ohio State) Acutron pendant watch. Certainly would not have to wait for the smaller one for a lady's watch. Just a thought.

Am I correct in assuming that all this does is "flash" the lights or vibrate when I receive a new email or notification basically? I would still obviously have to read it on my phone (which already "dings" or vibrates on receiving emails or notifications if I so choose.

@Bob Hi Bob - The Chronos Disc lets you set notifications for just the things you care about from your phone - that notification from your favorite app or note from that special person you care about. So when you Chronos is vibrating and lighting up, you know it's something important and worth checking on your phone.

How much "verticality" (height, I guess) does this add to the watch?

@Tim Hi Tim - the Chronos device is 3mm thin

Is the mounting sensitive enough to allow for biometric readings, e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, etc?

@Henry Hi Henry - the Chronos disc does not do heart rate measurements. Its features include step tracking, notification alerts and phone controls through taps and gestures.

So my watch is rectangular probably won't fit...can I carry it in my "watch pocket"?

  • Mark

    8/28/2017 12:48 PM

@Clark We've designed Chronos to fit on most watches - it's 33mm in diameter so as long as your watch is wider than that, your rectangular watch should be good!

Hello Mark, Just want to know if this watch has golfing features and how big is the diameter, does it comes in leather straps only or you also carry a metal one. Thanks. Maria

@Maria Hi Maria - our product is a thin disc that attaches to the back of your existing watch. To be clear - it is not a watch. It lets you turn the watch you already have and love to wear into a smartwatch. The diameter is 33mm so it will fit most watches available - we claim at least 85% of watches sold today. Thanks!

@Maria - also, it does not currently have golfing features
