No Hassle Swim Goggles

Pool proof

Suit up for swim season with Frogglez—a new kind of goggles designed to keep the water out and let kids jump right into the pool without batting an eye. Invented by dad and dentist, Dr. Christian Hahn of Louisville, KY, Frogglez provide a much-needed solution for parents who just want their children to be able to open their eyes under water without tears.

Like many inventions, Frogglez were born out of frustration. Tired of wasting money on goggles that leaked, pulled his kids’ hair and left raccoon marks on their faces, Dr. Hahn created Frogglez and submitted the idea for consideration at The Grommet Product Pitch event at Fenway Park. The design earned Dr. Hahn an invitation to be one of 10 finalists to pitch to our panel of experts.

Unlike traditional goggles, Frogglez are easy enough for kids to put on all by themselves. The neoprene strap doesn’t need to be adjusted or tightened. It just slips on and stays on thanks to the unique shape, width and stretch of the material. Another cool feature of these goggles is that they float. So if little ones take Frogglez off, parents don’t have to dive to the bottom of the pool to retrieve them. Now, that’s something to splash about.

I am a natural "problem solver" - when I struggled with my kids at the pool trying to put on swim goggles without pulling hair, adjusting them and keeping them on I realized that this needs to change! So I invented frogglez goggles to eliminate my personal frustration - it worked!

@Guest This product is geared towards children, but adult versions are certainly possible for the future ;)

I have received a lot of requests for adults...

@Christian Hahn - Founder I would love an adult pair. What circumference would the large fit, approx ?

Please, please do make an adult version. Due to frequent eye infections I can no longer swim unless I keep my head out of water. This becomes quite uncomfortable.

@Julie Sorry to hear about that Julie...making an adult version is quite simple and certainly in the works.

@Christian Hahn - Founder Christian, I have to confess that I have logged many hours in a Maine lake in the size Large. I have a pretty big head (according to the person who fitted me for my high school graduation cap) but thin the Large is probably pretty decent for women. If your eyes are wideset I think that could be an issue though. Mine are not.

Actually, what about a pair for teenagers that has a strap that also goes across the mouth...??;)

Hello.. I would be interested in trying an adult size as well... Very sensitive eyes and I hate how goggles pull my hair.. My one daughter will be ok to try these but my other wants the kind that covers nose.. Any future of that? :) Please! @Jules

+1 regarding adult goggles. I have tried at least 20 different types and sizes of goggles, and they either leak or leave me with nearly a black eye from suction. Particulars: narrow interpupillary distance, high cheekbones, deep set eyes, high nose bridge (so that Aquasphere and other face mask styles don't work).

You could revolutionize the triathlon world, not just the kiddie pool.

Good afternoon. I would most definitely like to be added to the list when adult sizes become available - hopefully with some solid, darker color straps (, dark navy, dark coral, other dark jewel tones, etc...). As most of my bathing suits have some sort of print at the top I wouldn't want another print competing on my head.

I have an eye injury that will never heal fully. Debris in my eye has re-injured it before, not a fun experience. So I wear tinted goggles to mow our lawn because sunglasses don't stop debris as well. But the clips used to adjust the goggles digs into my head with the earmuffs I have to wear for the noise. I am encouraged that I do not see clips on these. I am confident this product works well for swimming, but any thoughts on how it would work for an adult using them for the aforementioned out-of-water purpose? I'd gladly try them out and report my findings back to you if this use is anything you'd want to market to, when the adult version becomes available. I would be thrilled to not have a headache by the time I'm done mowing our many acres, so I may just try the large child size per Jules' experience in the meantime! Thanks for your time and consideration.

@John I am ecstatic to hear that these will soon be offered for adults! I probably have at least forty pairs of goggles that I have purchased over the past nineteen years that do not fit properly. I am an avid swimmer and average about 100 laps (often more) a day. Like many other people who have left comments, I have a small head; and is quite frustrating to have to stop every few laps due to leaky goggles. I would like to purchase samples from you; but I would absolutely love to review prototypes for you as soon as possible. And of course, I would give you lots of feedback and customer reviews! Thanks in advance!
