Pivot Multi-Tool & Key Organizer

Pocket Change

Keyport is like a customizable Swiss Army Knife.

Equip this multi-tool keychain with anything you want at pocket’s reach. Your keys, flashlight, knife, USB, pen, and location tracker will all be streamlined in a single, pivoting gadget.

Once you’ve loaded up your Keyport, you can lock it in place. The resulting instrument is
compact, smooth, and won’t loosen over time. And it’s as reconfigurable as you want it to be. Add and subtract tools on whim quickly and easily.

Aside from serving in the U.S. Navy and practicing architecture, Maker Josh Downes is an avid motorcyclist. Before hitting the road, he’d take his motorcycle key off his keychain to keep it from scratching his bike in the wind. He started brainstorming a more straightforward way to carry all his essentials at once.

Keyport dulls the jingle-jangle and cuts back on the bulk. Arrange all your loose pocket items into a tidy, slim device.

I love the idea on this and I'd consider it a reasonable price. When you have 5+ keys in it, how difficult is it to pull the key out that you need? Does it work like a classic swiss army or is there some sort of guide to make it easier to select and pull the right item from many?

@Christopher The Pocketknife Module works just like a Swiss army knife with a slip-joint deployment mechanism. To select a key or insert you just push up from the bottom on all the keys and select the one you need with your finger. Rotate the selected item out as you hold the other keys in place. With a little practice, you can do it with one hand.

Looks great, how does it do going through airports with some of the attachments, ie, the pocket knife?

@Kevin Everything except the Pocketknife will make it through TSA checkpoints. It is very easy to detach the Pocketknife from the Pivot so we recommend detaching it and leaving it at home or putting it in your checked luggage when you fly.

Is there a scissors insert? I carry a Swiss Army knife and the thing I use the most id the scissors--like almost every day.

@Normand I agree with you that a scissors is a very useful tool for your everyday carry. Yes, there is a Pivot compatible scissors insert from Stowaway Tools that is available separately from our Grommet offerings. There is a growing list of 3rd party Pivot compatible products including the Griffin Pocket Mini, several YubiKeys, and the full line of Stowaway Tools, many of which we offer on our site.

    Hi Josh!

I'm excited to purchase this for father's day gifts! How many keys can fit if you have 3-4 of the additions (pocket knife, pen, flashlight & moca tool? Also, is there an additional place to attach a car fob on the outside of the keyport? Thank you!

This will be one Father’s Day gift that Dad will use every day and that, we hope, will set the bar for future Father’s Day gifts. If you’ve got siblings, they’re going to have to step up their game :)

Since the Pocketknife and Mini-Flashlight are modules, they connect to the outside of the Pivot. So what remains for the inside is the MOCA Tool, Pen, and your keys. Depending upon thickness, you should be able to add four of five keys, and there is a swivel D-ring located at the base of the Pivot to which you can attach your auto fob.
