Quick question. On the Pro-Shopper are the bags removable? Also are the bags the only difference between the All Terrain and the Pro Shopper?

@Heather The bag on the Pro Shopper is removable. It's actually one large bag with 3 individual compartments. However, the cart was designed to fold completely flat with the bag still attached and comes fully assembled out of the box.

While the two carts do have many similarities, the UpCart Deluxe is actually a different product. The frame is different and the Deluxe holds up to 125 lbs. The Deluxe does not come with a bag, but there is bag accessory available for it.

@Heather J. The folded dimensions for the Pro Shopper are: 23.7 x 24.8 x 4.6 inches and the cart weighs 11 lbs

    The Deluxe All-Terrain folds down to: 21.2 x 24.3 x 4.4 inches and weighs 10.6 lbs

The video doesn't show this being used on aircraft stairs. Is it small enough to be used that way?

  • Michael

    4/10/2017 11:46 AM

@Barbara I am not sure what the width of aircraft stairs are, however when open the wheelbase of the UpCart Deluxe All-Terrain is 23.3 inches wide. While we did design the UpCart Deluxe to fit in the overhead compartment on an airplane so you could take it with you, we do know it is too wide to roll down the isle in most aircrafts.

Hello Everyone! Thanks for all the great questions!! I wanted to make sure to clarify one important item with the products listed above. The Bag Accessory for the UpCart Deluxe listed for $39.95 is just the bag. The cart is sold separately. The pictures show the cart and bag together to illustrate how the bag fits onto the UpCart.

    Thank you!

I have a question about the beach cart... Is it designed to/can it be used other places than the beach? Like, is it also good for taking things to sporting events, the laundromat, picnics, etc?

@Sarah I'm so glad you asked!! Absolutely YES! One of the great things about the UpCart Beach & Sport is exactly that... it is truly an multi-purpose cart! It's great for kids sporting events, picnics, laundry or even yard waste/leaf bags. The wheels are great for grass, dirt, gravel, etc.

so, I like the pro-shopper, but the high back design on the sport-cart is superior due to the angle @ the rear top to keep things from falling out. I really like that, but I need the separated bags!? suggestions? (hey hey, if you understood me?)

@christopher Thanks, good suggestion, we'll look into that. Since the bags on the Pro Shopper zip shut, we felt that was good to keep all your stuff in the cart.

I would buy the pro-shopper if it came with a bag similar to the other 2 . I'd like to see a constructed bag like the bag accessory, but as big as all 3 bags on the pro shopper. The bag I'm thinking of is very sturdy, very tall, and would have a draw string at the top so groceries wouldn't spill out - which happens a lot in my SUV. I need the all terrain cart for 3 flights of stairs.

@Denise I would strongly suggest the UpCart Deluxe with the bag accessory. The UpGrade bag for the Deluxe is made from Cordura Nylon, known for its durability and resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. The liner is made from Rip-Stop Nylon and when extended increases the capacity of the bag to 20-gallons. There is a draw string as well to ensure you can seal the bag at the top. It secures to the frame real easy with velcro straps.

@Michael I'm a wood carver. My equipment is heavy. This looks terrific. Question...I have an oak staircase. Will the wheels damage the stairs going back and forth to my studio? I'm assuming the most expensive unit will carry the most weight.

@susan The UpCart Deluxe All-Terrain is rated for 125 lbs on stairs. The wheels are coated in non-marking rubber tires (similar to roller blade wheels) so they will not damage your staircase. This cart has also been independently tested to require up to 64% less effort to pull up stairs than a traditional 2-wheel cart. With that said, you must still use care when moving anything that heavy up or down stairs by yourself.

We will also be releasing a new hand truck later this year that will be rated for up to 200 lbs on stairs.
