Pop Up Grill

Compact Travel Grill

For Sizzle

Cook with coals, or over an open fire, just about anywhere with Pop Up Grill.

It sounds simple enough but—as far as we know—this is the only travel grill that can make that claim. The design is compact and efficient, comprised of three separate sections and three removable legs. One section is a ventilated basket for your coals. Leave this off, and you can stand the remaining assembly directly in a campfire, to cook over an open flame. Simple as that.

Its innovative design makes Pop Up Grill genuinely portable, and
earned it a prestigious Red Dot Design Award. All of the parts, including two grilling surfaces, fit in a carrying case smaller than a messenger bag (and comes with a removable strap). This means you can take it—and use it—almost anywhere: the beach, the park, tailgating. There’s even enough room in the bag to pack some charcoal or wood.

Assembly takes a couple of minutes, and it breaks down just as easily. Like grilling wasn’t already fun enough, now you can do it almost anywhere.

What are the parts made of? Can it withstand a very high heat without melting or warping? I noticed in the video at 1:01 the grill looks like it's warping which is common with thin fragile grills.

@James Hi James! The grill is made of 0.6 mm steel. It is specified to withstand 550 deg celsius. Regarding paint and steel, it will not melt. The grid might warp a little, but nothing that affects the function. To produce a "100%-warping-free" grid, it requires a thicker quality, which gives a higher price.

Hi Jonas, another potential market for this is apartment dwellers who do not have an outdoor space to store a grill and don't want/can't lug a regular grill between indoor and out. THAT'S why I'm adding it to my wish list.

@Jonas @Julia - Just make sure you use it outside (patio or balcony) with plenty of ventilation or CO problems will be possibly deadly.
