Smart Speakers

Housed inside each of these classic compact wooden designs is a customizable, hi-fidelity digital music player. Invented by Audio Hall of Fame veteran Tom DeVesto, this smart speaker makes the digital analogue. Customize its preset buttons to play directly from all sorts of sources (FM, internet radio, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect). There are a few variations to choose from, and all feature two aux inputs, an alarm clock (so you can rise and snooze to your favorite tunes), and a remote control. The solo is perfect for smaller rooms, while the Duetto can entertain a larger crowd. There’s even a portable, rechargeable one—the Amico—with eight hours of wireless playback and a weather-resistant wood exterior so you can listen outside. Whichever design or designs you choose, these speakers can connect to each other, too—control up to five from one device.

    Hi Jerry.

    Happy to get your comment. You didn't mention a specific model so I assume you are referring to all our models. Unlike a lot of inexpensive products on the market, we use a 30 watt per channel digital amplifier, real wood veneer over a 1/2" thick wood cabinet, aluminum parts on the front, color display, custom user interface, tweeter and custom woofer, a two year warranty, free lifetime tech support by us (not a third party), etc. We also have received numerous positive product reviews. When all these things are considered and you experience the great sound, this is a real high fidelity product.

    You mentioned "countries" -- can this be used in Europe (specifically Ireland?) -- is the power source able to take 220?

    @Roxanne

    Hi Roxanne.

    Thanks for your query.

    Yes, all of our models can be used in Ireland and other countries besides North America. The universal power supply will automatically adjust to the correct power, from 100-240 volts. The USA model doesn't include DAB for UK/Europe since DAB isn't used in the USA, but our UK/EU version does so if you want DAB we can help you with that.

    I noticed in the video that you founded Tivoli. I've had a PAL for about 15 years and still amazed at how great it sounds, especially in such a small package. And the build quality is excellent. If these new radios are comparable, I'm sure you will have some happy owners.

    @Greg Hi Greg. That's so wonderful to hear that you've been getting great use out of your PAL for so long! It's always wonderful to hear positive encouragement. We think the Como Audio music systems look and sound amazing and will add a great touch to any home.

    @Jim

    Hi Jim.

    Your query is a bit jumbled. I believe you are asking how Duetto differs from Solo. Both models have mostly the same features but Duetto is larger, has a larger color display (text and artwork are easier to see), is stereo not mono, has slightly better bass, and is good for filling larger spaces with sound. Let me know if that wasn't your question.

    Can you explain the Alarm Clock Feature in detail.

    How is it set up and viewed, one or two alarms, , used (including any Slumber feature) and finally the "alarm" itself (is there a a "standard" buzz type alarm feature.)

    PS: STILL using my white Tivoli PAL with my original 1st Gen. iPod since 2001.

    @Alexander

    Hi Alexander. Thanks for your question.

    There is a variable Sleep timer which is found in the menu. There is also a variable Snooze function which is activated either by pressing the remote's Mute key or pushing in the Menu knob after the alarm activates.

    Alarm wake options include Internet radio, FM, Spotify, and a buzzer.

    Once the alarm is set up through the alarm menu you only need to press the alarm key on the remote to toggle alarms 1 and 2 on or off with the unit in standby.

    The alarm menu itself is accessed using the remote's alarm key or from the menu using the Menu knob. Once in the alarm menu you can set the alarm time, alarm source, alarm volume, and if you want the alarm to activate weekdays, weekends, just 1 time, etc.

    FYI- We have the user manual on our website under "Support" if you want more detailed reading material.

    Good to know your PAL is still going strong. That should give you some confidence in our Como Audio products!

    @Anita

    Hi Anita.

    Thanks for your question.

    I'd say an average room size would be about 12' x 16'.

    Our models will fill a room fairly well, but if you have a large room or just prefer listening in stereo, consider the Duetto and Musica. You can also use multiple models around the house and stream the same music to all of them or different things to different units. I hope that helps.
