The FoodBag is an easier, more space efficient way to carry lunch! They're sturdy enough to eat right out of, and dishwasher safe for easy clean up. And after you've finished they roll up and can be easily stored away.

I'm happy to be here today to answer any questions you may have about the FoodBag.

Surprised to read it's microwavable....are you clear there is no issue with the metal clasp?! This does seem like a great alternative than recycling our ziplock baggies over and over....and the microwaveable/dishwasher safe options are pluses. -Gladbag

    Hi Diana and Corrine,

Yes, you can always find details like this when you click into the box with the orange "buy" button. The dimensions for this bag are:

    Open: 5.9" L x 3.35" W x 7" H / Closed: 5.9" L x 3.35" W x 5.7" H

Love the product! Is there a way to see more true colors? The "red" on my screen is a beautiful coral and the green is nicely subdued in one shot and quite neon in another. I want to give as gifts so colors matter. I, also, need reassurance that the metal fastener is micro-wave safe. Thanks!

    Hi Jami,

Thanks for catching this discrepancy. I will make sure these images are updated first thing in the morning so they are accurate. For now, I would say that the colors are closer to the main image of them lined up on the wood. The video also does a nice job of showing the colors accurately. The purple and the green are shown in the first 15 or so seconds of the video and that should help.

Again, these images will be updated in the morning, however I will shoot you an email too just to be sure you see. Thanks again for catching that.

    Hi All,

Here is another picture that I have just taken. Hoping this is more helpful to show the true colors.

As you can see, the green is not quite as neon green as it looks in the single image but brighter than the color in the picture of them lined up on the wood.

    Hi All,

Amy from The Grommet team here. Good questions on whether the bag is microwavable. It is indeed microwavable however you'll need to follow the instructions of your specific microwave. We've had several different testers here who have microwaved it and it's been perfectly fine.

    Hi Sue,

I know it can seem like it wouldn't work, but the snap closure is so small, it's not a problem at all in the microwave. We've tested it thoroughly here in the office, but again you need to follow the instructions for your specific microwave.

    Hi Sue,

Thanks for your feedback and telling us about your values for shopping. Products made in the U.S. is something we also value however the reality is that it's not always possible for our Makers to manufacture here. Costs, logistics and more play into this decision that is never an easy one for our Makers.
