We all love dining out, and sometimes it leaves us wishing we could create such beautiful meals at home. With Stax, restaurant-quality presentation is at your fingertips. Professional chefs use plating techniques to make each meal look amazing. One technique is to build food vertically, a daunting trick most of us won’t try at home. But Stax makes it simple with rings that pivot open, keeping your creation intact when you’re ready to serve. Heather Kauffman and Tal Chitayat wanted to improve the home cooking experience with creative, quality kitchenware. So they founded Creo (Latin for "I Create") and brought us Stax, a food stacking tool designed to bring some pizazz to your plate. Stax is dishwasher and freezer safe and comes with a 22-recipe booklet from a trio of chefs. These dishes range from kid-friendly meals to decadent desserts. Use Stax to create a delicious focal point for your next holiday meal—guests are sure to be impressed.

@Beth It's a little difficult to paste it in the comment box, but we have recipes ranked easy, medium, and expert for every level. We worked with 3 cooks to make recipes varied enough to encourage people to make their own creations. Some examples are:

Caramelized Onion & Goat Cheese Appetizer

    Squash & Zucchini Ratatouille

    Cucumber & Avocado Wrapped Slaw

    Quinoa Salad

    Couscous with Moroccan Stew

Steak & Eggs with Roasted Tomatoes

Sweet Potato, Pepper, Onion & Cilantro Pesto Tortilla Lasagna

Mom & Kid Friendly Cheesy Pasta

Sweet Potato Hash with Poached Eggs

No Bake Cheesecake with Balsamic Strawberries

Brownie Berry Sundae with Vanilla Cream

    @Tal

Do you have more breakfast recipes?

Also, can you bake in them or does everything already have to be cooked, so the items have to be cold items?

Are these displayed on a dinner plate or a salad plate? I am trying to figure out the size. The video shows two devices. When ordering does one get both? Miss "G"

@Georgene Your Stax can be on a dinner plate, or a salad plate, they are just under 4" in diameter.

BOTH are included, and this allows you to vary the height, or have two levels prepared separately to be combined when ready to serve, i.e. raw garnish on top of a cooked base, or whipped cream and strawberries on top of ice cream.

This looks like a fun product! Is the material BPA free? I might also be interested in a bigger size, for presenting larger appetizers and deserts on a buffet table.

Hi Gunda, Stax are indeed BPA free. And larger sizes are a great idea, I'm sure Tal and co. will take that into consideration down the line. Stay tuned!

Hi Suzanne, Stax should not be put in the oven, microwave, or on a stove top. It's not just for cold foods, it can certainly stack hot foods. But it is only for prepping your food for presentation, not part of the cooking process.
