I really enjoy this product in my home. I wish my city of choice was in the larger size though.

Perfect Valentine's Gift

I bought a Dallas map for my husband for Valentine's Day and he loved it! I was looking for a masculine and unique gift that was a little out of the box and was so excited when I found this map for a city he loves. The steel is beautiful and creates a very unique gift that we are proud to display at home. Thank you!!More > < Less

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He's so hard to buy for. He loved it. The quality and quick shipment were great.

Attractive graphic gift.

Purchased this neat map graphic for my son, now a 4 year Austin resident. It is detailed and eye-catching, and he loved it. The 5x7" version was cool, but I wish I could have gotten a larger version.More > < Less

Excellent map, ok frame

I ended up spray painting the frame and placing a colored piece of paper behind the metal. My mom loves it

About Cut Maps

Urban Lace

Like urban lace, Cut Maps showcase the unique patterns formed by city streets, parks, landmarks, and natural boundaries.

As a mechanical engineer, Dan Linden explores the intersection between technology and art in his laser cut wall art and other accessories.

His foray into this form of location honoring was personal—he did a tracing of his former neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio, for a local fair. The response was overwhelmingly positive—people started requesting minimalist renditions of their own hometowns. Since then, Dan’s maps have dressed up walls and protected phones with all your favorite locations.

His designs now trot the globe with over 40 cities represented. To residents, the streets and neighborhoods don’t need any labels. You can instantly recognize addresses and stomping grounds. To the unfamiliar, the geographic details are an invitation to explore new territories.

We find Dan’s work a powerful channeling of place. Just like a traditional map, Cut Maps remind you of cities you’ve called home and feed your wanderlust.
