My greatest inspirations are art and animals. Animals’ expressions allow for endless possibilities, and portraying the energy and joy that can sometimes be lost in otherwise preconceived notions of the subject is what drives me. Art that embraces change moves me, it motivates me to create. Through my work, I hope to convey the care and devotion of animal-lovers.

I LOVE these animal prints and because I am more of a cat person I would love to see some more cat pictures to choose from... And I also would be interested in one of my own cat as others have said, if that is ever a possibility. I sent the link to these to one of my friends who has 3 dogs because I think she will just flip over them too.

What great work! I love this idea! These are SO colorful! I have 7 rescued animals and would LOVE to get a few of these if can do custom of people's own pets esp if can do atleast 2 in 1 pic? Or if we send good pics to work from is there a discount at all if order 7 small ones? As these would be great personalized art for our family room but none of the curretn pieces look like mine (yellow lab mix, border collie mix and 3 colors of Maine Coon cat mixes (5 cats):-) With so many people below looking for personalized ones, perhaps that will be an option esp if we allow release of our pic you could then have more breeds of dogs/cats for others to choose from.

Just an added note - I have several Dean Russo Prints already in my collection and I love them all. I have rescued Pit Bulls, and as I look at the prints, the faces may be a little different from my own girls - but the eyes are theirs through & through ... that soulful, soft, and almost uneasy look of that fur baby that wants to come and be loved - but isn't quite sure if it really is a safe thing to do. Thank you Mr. Russo for capturing the unyielding love these wonderful creatures give forth so freely, sometimes at their own expense. If it were possible, I would own every Pitty Print you have painted, I especially LOVE the large one you have on this site now, but with unfortunately unemployment & upcoming surgery hinder my purchases at this time. But my girls & I thank you and Bless you for your wondering art. Pat Clark
