Very helpful

It works for me. Deep breaths in and out along with the light. Tap once for a short time and tap twice for the extended time. Next thing I know my alarm is ringing and it’s the next morning. I think this could be used for meditation as well if I could keep from falling asleep.More > < Less

I love it.

Soothing. Better than counting sheep. Worth it and a nice design too.

Distracts from anxious thoughts

I got this for my daughter who suffers chronic insomnia. She said it distracts her from her anxious thoughts long enough so she can go to sleep. I have hoped and prayed for something to help her! Here it is!More > < Less

Really helps

I have had insomnia for over 15 years that requires daily medication. There are times that the medication doesn't work or takes a long time. With this light, and by following the directions, I am able to fall asleep and get a restful nights sleep.More > < Less

Amazing that this actually works.

I have occasional insomnia and when I saw the "dodow" featured on the Grommet site, i thought I would give it a try. I was skepticalas skeptical at first, wondering how a blue light on my ceiling would help me fall asleep. But, once I relaxed and followed the simple instructions, I don't even remember falling asleep. I awoke the next morning knowing that I had one if the best nights sleep in a long time.

I tend to wake up around 3:00 am a couple of nights a month, and have not been able to get back to sleep. Now with my "dodow", I just give it a tap, the blue light comes on, and before I know it, I get drowsy and fall back asleep in minutes.

This is one of the best products I have ever purchased from Grommet!!!

Science says: this lamp will lull you to sleep.

About Dodow

Light Sleep

Like a personal guided meditation, this pulsating lamp helps you fall asleep quickly and soundly—and there’s solid science behind it. Match your inhales and exhales to the pulses, and your body will take over from there.

By slowing down your breaths to six per minute, Dodow gradually steadies your pulse. It stimulates the part of your brain that’s in charge of lowering your blood pressure and heart rate. The result is that you take longer exhales, release more CO2, your brain’s blood vessels shrink, and you’ll fall asleep two times faster than you usually do.

Maker Alexandre Dujoncquoy cured his insomnia through concentrated breathing. He then teamed up with two product designers to make this technique almost foolproof. Now Dodow lulls over 60,000 people to sleep every night. To join them, all you need to do is breathe.
