Got compliments all day long

Loved the idea of this scarf, delighted when I opened the package, and got flattering comments all day long, from colleagues as well as customers at my retail dept store job.

I could not be more pleased, glad I got two colors....

Fun and fashionable

I just purchased one of these 'shreds' for me and one for a gift. I love the light weight and the length. I was hesitant to purchase this as many infinity scarves don't work well for me ... two loops in the scarf seem too confining, one loop is too long and sloppy. The measurement said 23 inches ... so I concluded, based on the photos, that had to be the length from the back of the neck to the longest length of the loop (diameter of a circle) ... or about 44-46 inches (if measured as a circumference) This is a perfect length ... slipped it over my head..and voila! It creates a nice neckline and dresses-up a plain shirt or top. And ... It's great to be supporting an entrepreneur as well!More > < Less

About Dona Bela Shreds

Fashion Reinvented

The colorful upcycled scarves from Dona Bela Shreds are the brainchild of Allison Davidson Motoyama. Back in 2010, she learned about "end knits"—strips of material that gets discarded during the process of making clothes.

All that perfectly good material (up to 15% of it) going unused inspired Allison to reduce that waste and make a fashion statement. The scarves are made in Iowa with the material that is (literally) left on the cutting room floor at nearby clothing companies.

Allison and her team sort the fabric strips by color and pattern. Because they never know what they’re going to get, no two scarves are the same. Instead, each is a unique blend of shades and prints hand-picked to work together. The result of this sustainably savvy effort is a soft, one-of-a-kind scarf that does good while looking good, too.
