Hi! Michelle here from the Grommet team. I was one of the lucky ones who got to test ELLEtatts --it was so much fun! We had a blast choosing which designs to wear and mixing and matching different styles. They were super quick and easy to apply and we were flaunting them for days.
-
@Michelle We are so glad you love them!!
-
How long do they last?
-
Hi Katherine,
Amy from The Grommet team here. You'll see in the video that they typically last 4-5 days. I've personally tried the tattoos as rings. I like to wear rings, but always take them off when washing my hands and then I lose them. ELLEtatts have allowed me to wear beautiful rings without risk of losing them. -
@kathrine Hi Katherine! That tattoos are designed to last 4-6 days (sometimes more) depending on the area they are placed, the amount of lotions and oils you use and how much it rubs on clothing/bed sheets.
-
how would they be on children (who would love them)? toxicity worries? any skin reactions you are aware of?
-
@denise These are great for children. They are 100% safe and have never caused any skin reactions. It is recommended not to use on sensitive skin or on sensitive areas (like around the eyes).
-
@Neda great for holiday gifts. My granddaughter loves tattoos but is past some of the more childish ones. Thanks for these...terrific idea.
-
@Patty Thanks Patty! She will love these!
-
Hello Neda - I love this ! I am a ballroom dance instructor, this will be fantastic! The video mentioned 4 days to stay on ? Will the shelf life on your skin diminish due to showering and or sweating ?
-
@Carol Thank you Carol! The tattoos will stay on for 4-7 days in our experience. The length of time will be based on a few things: Yes, showering and sweating will result in the tattoos rubbing off quicker. Additionally, placing the tattoos on areas of the body where it will rub on clothes and bed sheets will also cause it to rub off more quickly. Lastly, any area that is washed a lot or where you may use lotions (such as the hands) will also rub off more quickly.
For a longer lasting tattoo and shine, we recommend using the tattoos on the wrist, upper arms, ankles, neck and shoulders.
I hope that helps to clarify. -
Here's another great use: When I was in chemotherapy for breast cancer, I chose not to wear wigs and went with my bald head everywhere. On some occasions, I added some press-on tattoo-type decorations to my head, especially on the back, behind my right ear, It was a memorable part of that time, and were I to have a friend going through the same thing, I would get her these tattoos!
-
@Beth What a great idea Beth! Thanks for sharing. There are so many ways to use these fun and stylish tattoos so we love to hear your ideas
-
@Neda Do you sell these tattos in sheets of just silver. If so I would be interested!
-
@Janet Hi Janet - all of our styles have a combination of gold and silver. Hope you are able to find something you like!
-
@Neda
I would prefer all silver too, maybe a future development? -
Hi Alexandria,
Neda is taking notes and will be considering all these ideas for the future. Sounds like silver is a popular idea! -
Hi Ladies, We will surely be considering this for a future design.
Thanks for your input. -
I love the price per sheet. At this price, the sheets will make great stocking stuffers for my daughters.
