Birch Wood Dryer

Floworks Maker Kaj Gyr created this baggie and bottle drying rack as a better solution for air-drying rinsed-out baggies. Kaj had been using wooden spoons scattered around the kitchen to do the job, with less than stellar results. So he made a rack that does the drying vertically without taking up too much space. Made in Canada with birch wood, it has a tree-like design that can stand or be hung. Branches can accommodate baggies, water bottles, or even soggy hats and mittens while they air dry. And it folds up to store away easily between uses. Kaj first shared his rack with other eco-conscious baggie reusers, who were delighted with how well it worked—and were soon using it to dry out other things, too.
