Portable Tri-View Mirror

All-Around Mirror

This compact, tri-view mirror makes seeing the big picture—whether on the go or in a tight space—easy.

Hang it vertically from its adjustable hook—like on the back of a door or a shower curtain rail—and it gives you the same view as a full-length mirror. Or, for a 180-degree view of your hair and makeup, hang it horizontally.

Friends Deena O'Neill and Ellen Hollin created Floxsee after they both cut their long hair to donate to charity and found styling their new short hairdos tricky, particularly in the back. They have maintained their giving spirits, and donate 5% of Floxsee proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Both ladies traveled frequently, too, so their dream mirror had to be compact enough to take along. Their design is surprisingly slim when folded, making it perfect for hotel stays, getting ready at the gym, or any place where a good mirror can be hard to find.

I own two Floxsees. I keep one at the pool so I can do my hair after a swim and shower and one at home for everyday use. I don't know what I did without them. When we travel, it's great to have one tucked into the suitcase.

    is the 'mirror' glass, breakable?

  • Deena
    Deena – Special Guest
    3/15/2017 10:56 AM

@Leon - The mirror is acrylic, so it is break resistant. Also, because it is housed in a heavy duty plastic shell, it is very well protected.

    How much does it weigh?

  • Deena

    3/15/2017 11:10 AM

@Deborah - It weighs about 3 pounds. It folds flat to 12" by 7" by 1" so it's lightweight and easy to pack or carry.

  • Sarah

Can you put this up using a command hook?

  • Deena
    Deena – Special Guest
    3/15/2017 12:08 PM

@Sarah - The mirror is designed to be hung horizontally and vertically. It has built in hangers which pull out from the top to be hung over a door. You pull the mirror down to your height. If your command hook says it holds 3lbs., you should be fine. There are a wide range of Command Hooks, so we can't say that all of them will hold the 3lb. weight.

How does it attach to a bathroom mirror?

  • Deena

    3/15/2017 12:19 PM

@Patricia - The video on the Floxsee page shows exactly how to hang the mirror. It has built in hooks that pull out from the top, the hooks are designed to hang over a door. You don't even need another mirror in the room in order to see your head from all angles.

Can this sit on a table, also, if I need to hang it on a hook, how would I do that? I think this is a great idea, but it would be better if it did sit and if it could be hung on a hook.

@Angy - It has a flat bottom so it can sit on a table. It can be hung on a hook, it has a "D" ring on one side so that it can hang vertically. The Grommet video above shows all of the ways this mirror can be used.

Hi...B/c the mirror is acrylic...is there any distortion of the image?

  • Deena
    Deena – Special Guest
    3/15/2017 1:00 PM

@SUE - Sue, the mirror is crystal clear for hair and make-up. When it hangs vertically, and you have to stand back a few feet to see your entire image, there is minimal distortion.

    Hi Deena,

Your product looks great, I am wanting to know how low the mirror will hang if hooked over a door. I am short (5'1") will it be too high for me?

  • Deena

    3/15/2017 1:31 PM

@Cindy - as long as your doors are standard height, it will work for you. Ellen, my c0-inventor, is 5'2'' and she doesn't even have to pull it down all the way for it to work for her.

  • Erika

3 lbs is very heavy for travel, more than many laptop computers. Any plans to redesign it to weigh less?

  • Deena
    Deena – Special Guest
    3/15/2017 3:07 PM

@Erika - We worked for a long time to get it as light as possible. We used one of the finest acrylic mirrors available for greater clarity and those three panels in each mirror account for the majority of the weight. I would rather leave a pair of shoes or a 2nd handbag home than leave home without my Floxsee.

How do you see the back of your head? I color my own hair

    Thank you

  • Deena

@Susan - The video on The Grommet shows how the Floxsee works. You look in one side mirror and see the back and sides of your head in the other side mirror. Each of the side mirrors is infinitely adjustable to give you the perfect angle for seeing the back and sides of your head. I dolor my own hair as well, I can also use it to style the back perfectly.
