Shoe-In Comfort

Have your shoes ever mistreated you? With FootGloss, there’s no need to fear. Shoe lover Leah Schlechter was lining her favorite shoes with Band-Aids to prevent blisters. She wanted a better—and less noticeable—fix. She created FootGloss to help stop blisters from ever starting. It glides on and acts as a barrier, easing the friction that chafes your skin and leads to blisters. And because it’s invisible, it won’t put a crimp in your look, either. Made in the USA from all-natural ingredients, this balm works with any type of shoes—from high heels to flip-flops, hiking boots, men’s shoes and more. We found it can get a little slippery, so avoid using it on your soles. With just a swipe of this balm, the shoes that you love will now love you back.

How long does it last after application?

@Morgan Hi Morgan, once you swipe it on you're generally good for the day (or night). You may want to keep it with you if you have a particularly long day or will be on your feet for hours - just in case.

What a great idea! About how long does it last during the day? Also, what is it made of?

    Thanks :-)

@CARA Hi Cara! FootGloss is made of all-natural ingredients, here's a full list:

ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, cetearyl alcohol, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, beeswax, hydrogenated castor oil, glycine soja (soybean) lipids, lauryl laurate, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax

See my note above, I usually only need to apply it in the morning for most of my shoes - if you have a hot spot that has already flared up, you might need to reapply once later in the day.

    Hope that helps!

This probably sounds odd, but my son has trouble with his soccer shin guards doing this - do you think it could be used on his legs to help?

@Tammie Hi Tammie, yes you could certainly try it- it's fine to use FootGloss on legs or other areas of skin friction. Thanks for the question!

About how many applications can one expect from a tube?

  • Leah

@Janet Hi Janet, thanks for your question! The consistency is similar to a lip balm and you apply a very thin (invisible) layer. A tube will last you a very long time - many months to a year or more - depending on how often you use it.

I use Footgloss and I LOVE IT! I keep one in my gym bag for days that I get ready for work at the gym and one in my closet by my shoe rack. Footgloss has saved my feet so many times whether just walking around town or when doing lots of walking while traveling. It's great for strappy heels or even flats that have that "spot" that might normally rub you the wrong way. But with Footgloss there's no issue. Love the stuff.
