Mealtime Cooling Dish

Just Right

With two young daughters, Carrie Kahn, the creator of COOLIT, knows that when children decide they’re hungry, the food cannot come quickly enough. Tired of listening to her children whine while waiting for their meals to cool, Carrie invented COOLIT.

No more frantically blowing on food with a “hangry” little one fussing in the
background. And, no more giving kids food too soon only for them to burn their mouths. The COOLIT takes food from too hot to just right in less than one minute.

Simply store the clever little cooling dish in the freezer for up to three hours before mealtime, remove it from the freezer and place hot food directly inside. Then, stir, wait 60 seconds, transfer, and enjoy.

Great for all types of hot foods such as mac & cheese, oatmeal, chicken, rice, vegetables, soup, and more, the COOLIT is made from food-safe, BPA-free materials. It’s even top-rack dishwasher safe. And, at 2″x 8″ it fits in a diaper bag or purse for use at a restaurant or while traveling.

We have two young daughters at home, so we know all too well how stressful mealtime can be. There's usually plenty of screaming and a lot of impatience, especially when food is too hot to eat. After MANY meals that revolved around blowing on food for long minutes at a time to cool it down, I was determined to figure out a better way to cool food down without adding to the already stressful mealtime drama. That's how COOLIT came to be, and we're really excited and proud to share it with all of you - this is truly a product created by parents for parents. Thank you!

I would love to purchase this product for my granddaughter, Berlin, but unfortunately it's made in China! Why can't we get good quality, safe products from the USA? I refuse to purchase for her or my Dobie, Bongo, any product that is made anywhere but in the USA. When the manufacturing is done here, I will be all over it and recommend it highly. Sorry.

    Hi Terry,

We know that many of our supporters hold the value of domestically made products very close and we have the utmost respect for it. Many of our Makers are luckily able to to manufacture in the U.S. but for some, it's simply not possible, despite how hard they try. We always support their efforts and feel this is a fantastic product that will sooth kids and parents when it comes to meal time.

How many times can you use it before refreezing? And how long does it take to freeze?

It usually takes about 3 hours to freeze and you can usually use it for 2 food servings (for example, 2 plates of pasta) before it will need to go back in the freezer.
