DIY Silk Scarf Painting Kit

Paint on Silk

Coloring is even more fun when you can wear your masterpiece.

This silk scarf painting kit is a great way for kids to get creative and make an eye-catching, hand-painted accessory while they’re at it.

The award-winning French Makers behind this beautifully designed Grommet have been perfecting their toy-making skills since the
1950s. Their innovative mindset applies to the packaging, which transforms into a surface to keep the scarf taut for painting.

With a beautiful color palette to choose from and slick black lines to guide the brush, the result will look great on. Grown-ups are also highly encouraged to take part, whether you’re sharing the experience with your little one or painting by yourself to unwind.

This looks like a great product for having creative time with my Granddaughter. I have purchased Dejeco products many times and they are of very high quality.

Do all the kits come with the same choice of colours? It is difficult to differentiate the choice of patterns offered. The peacock is easily identified, the others not so much.

    Thank you

    Hi Cathy,

The colors do vary from set to set depending on the desgin etc. I am very glad to hear that you are familiar with our quality. In order to help you to see the other patterns I would suggest that you open this link to see all four patterns. I hope this is helpful.

@Larry Hi Larry, I have the same question as Cathy. But I do not have nor do I want to make a Dropbox account. Can you please send the colors in another way? (i.e. what color paints come with what. I can figure out all but the Japanese Garden color pallettes but am not going to buy this unless I know what colors I am getting. I think you should just post them on Grommet - why do we have to go searching for it?) Many thanks

Hi Alison, we are working on getting pictures of the finished designs and packaging to give you a sense of the colors for each one. Standby!

I like the sparrows pattern but detest the color yellow. Is there any chance they will offer the colors sold separately so that you can choose your own?

    Thank you

Hi Alice. The colors are not sold separately at this time. We'll keep this in mind for the future. Hopefully the other three paterns are appealing to you.

    Larry, thanks for your responses.

My children are all grown now but I know they like to color /paint designs like what you have displayed. My questions are therefore: what is the overall size of the finished scarf and how do you care for this painted silk scarf? Don't want to lose all this nice work that they have done.

    Thank you
