Great product! Don't leave home without it!

by

I have now used this twice and invited a friend to try it as well. First time was on two glasses of wine, one red and one white. I normally avoid drinking red due to the side effects from the histamines and sulfites, but while I did get a bit tipsy, I had no congestion, headache, no swelled ankles even!

Used it again last night when out with a friend who also used it and we both said the same thing. No typical side effects. Based on reading the reviews, we did leave it in a bit longer than the recommended three minutes.

BTW--my friend and I are both seasoned travelers and never felt the effects mentioned above while drinking wine in Europe. This product makes the experience of drinking wine the same. I will never drink wine again without using it!

Love The Wand

I have definitely noticed a difference using The Wand. I don't have the stuffiness or the joint pain I had without it. Such a great find!

Back in the game.

by

My wife developed a fairly severe reaction to drinking wine. She would flush and have pruritic diffusely. This prevented her from enjoying an occasional glass of wine when we went to a nice restaurant. Using the Wand resulted in totally asymptomatic enjoyment once again. Disposing of the Wand after use is a bit clumsy in a restaurant, but she brings a small sandwich baggie with her. "Sulfite-free" wines did not alleviate her symptoms but your device does the trick. Thanks.More > < Less

About PureWine

Wine Filter

David Meadows and his son Derek wanted to create a wine filter to combat the stuffy nose and headache-y reaction David experienced when he drank red wine. They discovered that wine, particularly red wine, is packed with sulfites (which are used as a preservative) and natural histamines. These allergens can cause congestion, facial flushing, and hangover-like feelings for some drinkers, like David.

It took the Meadows five years to perfect their solution: The Wand™ Wine Filter. It’s a pint-sized filter that removes the bulk of sulfites and histamines—and their side effects—in a glass of wine, without affecting taste, aroma, or color.

Nanopore beads sealed in the single-use device absorb up to 95% of wine allergens. It's disposable and easy to take along with you. Just give it a swirl in your glass and let it soak for three minutes before drinking.
