Cannabidiol Infused Body Care and Pain Relief

Skin High

Give your skin a high. CBD moisturizers, hair products, and pain relievers are rich in vitamins and omegas that nurture, revitalize, and even soothe. And they’re Made in the USA.

Cannabinoids are extracted from the stems and stalks of industrial hemp, then mixed with essential oils and other natural ingredients, making a
healthy, nourishing recipe. Because it’s hemp-derived, it’s not psychoactive like the THC that’s found in marijuana.

Instead, the cannabinoids interact with the receptors in your own endocannabinoid system. This helps hydrate, cleanse, rejuvenate, reduce inflammation, and soothe.

The idea for making this type of body care came to one of the Makers after using cannabinoids for scoliosis pain. She noticed it not only soothed the ache, it also made her skin clearer and softer. So she teamed up with a chemist to perfect this formula.

Besides the positives in all of CBD for Life’s creams, rubs, and sprays, they omit all the bad stuff. They’re completely free of GMOs, formaldehyde, parabens, and artificial coloring that are commonly found in beauty products.

Your skin thanks you in advance for the pampering.

@Asad Hello Asad! Yes! Our products are safe for oily skin. In fact, CBD is an adaptogen, which means it adapts to the skin type and reacts accordingly. CBD helps to regulate lipid production in the skin, so with continued use, your skin will begin to produce less oil.

You say that CBD is the main ingredient in your product, yet water is listed first in the list of ingredients, making it the main ingredient .

@Linda Hello Linda. CBD is the main active ingredient in our products. Our rubs, which are oil based, list CBD as the main ingredient. In our water based products, we need the water to mix the water soluble CBD, so we chose to list water first.

@Mollie I'm sorry, but this is incorrect. The DEA still considers CBD a Schedule I controlled substance. I wouldn't feel comfortable purschasing this product, especially if it is being shipped over state lines.

Good catch, Eric. But they actually backed off that initial stance. Here is their most recent statement:

"The new drug code (7350) established in [the Rule] does not include materials or products that are excluded from the definition of marijuana set forth in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The new drug code includes only those extracts that fall within the CSA definition of marijuana. If a product consisted solely of parts of the cannabis plant excluded from the CSA definition of marijuana, such product would not be included in the new drug code (7350) or in the drug code for marijuana (7360).”

If a product is sourced from industrial hemp, as CBD is, then it is perfectly legal for sale in all 50 states.

@Mike resins extracted from industrial hemp still fall within the restrictions of the Controlled Substances Act. The new drug code doesn't change any restrictions - it is simply to aid the DEA in reporting. Here's the footnote from the DEA ruling you mention above:

5 Nor would such a product be included under drug code 7370 (tetrahydrocannabinols). See Hemp Industries Association v. DEA, 357 F.3d 1012 (9th Cir. 2004) (Hemp II). However, as the Ninth Circuit stated in Hemp II, "when Congress excluded from the definition of marijuana 'mature stalks of such plant, fiber . . . , [and] oil or cake made from the seeds,' it also made an exception to the exception, and included 'resin extracted from' the excepted parts of the plant in the definition of marijuana, despite the stalks and seed exception." Id. at 1018. Thus, if an extract of cannabinoids were produced using extracted resin from any part of the cannabis plant (including the parts excluded from the CSA definition of marijuana), such an extract would be included in the CSA definition of marijuana.

@Eric Hi Eric. In a nut shell, the DEA is tying to regulate CBD, which they are not allowed to do. We were just at a trade show in NYC and this question came up. The simple answer is that the DEA is at odds with the FDA. The DEA is voicing its interpretation and opinion on CBD/hemp law. an excerpt from the farm bill is below. Our products are made in NJ and we ship to all 50 states. We go to trade shows all over the country. The response to our products have been tremendous. We are very proud to have created such a wonderful product.

'The 2013 Farm Bill specifically separated the classification of industrial hemp from cannabis. It allowed states to self-regulate hemp products, including setting up programs for the study and growth of the crop for “growth, cultivation, or marketing purposes.

31 states have defined industrial hemp as distinct from marijuana and removed barriers to cultivation. Hemp-based products are legal in all 50 states."

We do not have specific data specific to migraines, however, many of our customers use the lemongrass rub on their temples and neck and find tremendous relief from their migraines. The NFL has been working on studies in regards to CBD and migraines, but I have not yet seen the full report. I know ex-NFL players are using CBD to help with chronic migraines with great success

@Jeanine Hello Jeanine! Our products do not have a cannabis smell at all. The face cream and the face cleanser do not have much of a scent at all. I smell a hint of lemon, but very little. Our products are gender neutral, so we did not want a heavy scent.
