Hi --I'm Don from Wiggles 3D, and excited to share our newest product Bellz. It's a game of strategy and fun with a happy jingle, too. Let me know if you have questions.
-
I have a question about the rules. I understand that once you pick up a different color bell your turn is over. I was wondering if once you pick up another colored bell, your turn is over and you DO NOT get to keep your colored bells?
-
@A Thanks for your question. On your turn you can collect as many bells as you dare. You can stop at any time provided you have collected bells of only the one color you had chosen. You then set these aside and pass the wand to the next player.
You keep these bells throughout the game and try to collect the rest of that set on your following turns.
If on any turn you attract a bell of a different color, then that turn is over and the bells from that turn are returned to the game arena. However you still keep any of the bells you had collected on previous turns.
Only one player may be collecting each color. -
The game sounds like great fun...except for one thing. Those balls are killers! Small children and dogs put everything in their mouths...including magnetic balls! They are just plain dangerous. A few years ago, I gave some of my grown kids the set of magnetic balls which were recalled for the same reason these should be recalled or taken off the market. Please think about removing these...for the kids and dogs sake!
*The Grommet disclaimer: bells included in the game are not magnetic. The recommended ages are 6+ -
@judie I sure there is a disclaimer stating appropriate age, etc. just be safe and keep them out of reach. I sure more people, kids, and even pets are injured or even killed by guns than magnetic balls!

@judie
Hi Judie,
Thanks for your note and a chance to clarify how the game is constructed.
The bells are not magnetic, they are metal, but not magnetized. We have placed the only magnets in the game inside the magnet wand which is quite large and cannot be swallowed.
I hope that helps,
thanks

Did you happen to watch the video-at all? The "killer" magnet is safely encased in a 4 inch long tube that appears to be hard plastic. If a kid can swallow this, he/she would be an exceptional child. And-by the way-two or more magnets are required to do damage in a kids bowel. Please do research before posting. -
Hi Judie,
Just to jump off Don's point, as with all games with small pieces, it is recommended to keep out of reach for small children because of the choking hazard. For Bellz, the recommended ages are 6+ and should be avoided by children 3 and under for that reason. -
Easy people...she wasn't talking about the "killer magnet" but the airway sized "bellz"...I've personally removed many like objects from children's airways and have also seen terrible sequelae from similar foreign bodies that could not be removed. (FYI magnets/batteries are recommended to be removed).
Having said all that, refer to Mike's point...these are not meant for the target population that commonly aspirate toys. Care should be given with ALL toys with small parts.
It actually seems like a fun game...the reason, I suspect, we were all looking at it in the first place... -
@Frank Wow, a voice of reason. Shocking and oh-so-refreshing!
