Hello everyone! I'm proud to introduce Cinemood to The Grommet. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!
-
Hi Paul,
Can you stream Netflix through your device? -
@Lisa Hi, Lisa.
Netflix is not supported yet, but we will add it shortly (in the coming month or two). Thanks to the automatic remote firmware updates every user will get Netflix support as soon as we release it. -
Hi Paul,
I was wondering the same thing. Can you stream popular apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu? -
@Kristina Hi, Kristina.
We are working on adding all popular streaming services right now. Will start with Netflix and add Amazon and Hulu after that -
We have iPads and MacAir and I wondered if we can use this to project streaming or stored content from those... the movies we own, or rent, etc.
-
@Roxanne Hi, Roxanne.
CINEMOOD is a standalone device. Means there is no need to connect anything to the device to make it work. You can upload your own content onto the device or use a memory stick to play the content you own. Also, there is Youtube support and extensive content library for kids ready to play at the same moment you unwrap it. -
I also am curious as to the answer to these questions--this sounds like such a cool concept and I'd love to make use of it for my own viewing, especially Netflix.
-
@Sonja Hi, Sonja.
As I mentioned above we are working on it. Will add Netflix shortly. We update firmware remotely so you will get it as soon as we release Netflix support on CINEMOOD. -
I make presentations to church groups about my mission in Guatemala. Would you devise project photos from my I pad and I phone?
-
@Mike Hi, Mike.
You can upload your photos or pdf onto the device and project it anywhere. There is no need any external device in this case. -
Hi Paul,
Can you connect this to a computer to show slides etc presentations? -
@Katharine Hi Katharine.
You can upload your presentations as PDF directly onto device. I'm using it for my own presentations but keep in mind the rom should be shady. -
How powerful is the sound? Is the Cinemood designed for the personal use of a couple of people in a quiet room, or can I use it to present to an audience of 40 easily?
-
@Lianne Hi Lianne.
Sound is quite good. You can connect to external bluetouth speaker if you need more sound. -
Does it come with a cord? 1 1/2 hours won't finish a movie!
-
@Nancy Battery will last 5 hr.
It comes with cord and can be charge from power bank as well -
Happy Friday! Could you please give me an clear explanation of how you project a full spectrum of color if you do not emit blue light. Also what is the native resolution?
Thank you, -
@Don Hi Don
Happy Friday :)
Good question about blue light. As far as I know it's much less blue light in the reflected light than in the direct one. There are tones of info about projectors/blue light and how it's better than smartphones in the web. -
Greetings!
Might a future model be able to hook up to a DVD player, or are you moving permanently away from such "antiquated" media? Perhaps a Bluetooth connection to another device?
Thank you. -
@Priscilla Hi Priscilla.
We are moving out of the wires. That is common trend. Bluetooth might be an option but most likely it will be connection to the streaming services.
