Any idea what the spinning does to the phone electronics? Love this idea.
-
@Karen
Hi Karen. It will not harm phone electronics. -
Will this adhesive hold on my textured phone back? It's a leather back.
-
@Lenora
It works best on a flat phone back. We included a cleaning patch to help clean the spot -
How does the spinner attach to my phone
-
@Lloyd
There is an adhesive on ringspinner for attaching to phone -
Can the app be used on an IPod touch?
-
@Hillary
Yes, and it will work with iPad as well! -
and is it android compatible? Thanks!
-
@Hillary
Yes, there is an Android app for it as well. -
Isn't it a little silly? What if your phone flies off for some reason, and it cracks the screen?
-
@Dottie
The adhesive on RingSpinner has a very strong hold ager applied. We asked users to wait for a few minutes after installing RingSpinner. -
How would I remove the spinner in the future?
-
@Kathy you can remove with with a box cutter and some rubbing alcohol to remove the residues of adhesive
-
Will it attach to the iPhone smart battery case OK?

@Melissa it should work as it has a flat back.

As a behavioral and developmental pediatrician who works with kids with ADHD this is the worst idea ever! First there are no scientific studies supporting positive benefits from fidget spinners. Second high schoolers and middle schoolers, who often have access to cell phones at school and use this, will not only distract themselves but others around them. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should!
