Water Purification Pods

Portable Purifier

This tiny ceramic water enhancer transforms the taste and freshness of tap water anywhere.

Drop it in a water bottle, slip it in a pitcher for the whole family, or attach it to your dog’s drinking bowl. It’s made from highly-porous ceramic that absorbs impurities and releases trace minerals to balance the pH levels of your

Besides fixing alkalinity, each pod filters out lead, arsenic, chlorine, and other contaminants you don’t want in your system. It’s all in its Diatomite. This naturally-occurring, fine-grain rock has been in Earth’s waters for over 20 million years and has been used historically in different filtration systems.

Once the GoPure team figured out how to help humans, they adapted this purifying design to work for pets as well. They invented a special suction-cup cage to secure the pod to the water bowl for cleaner, safer drinking.

Using GoPure isn’t just softer on your (or your pet’s) body, it’s also good for the the environment. Instead of drinking from plastic water bottles, you can purify any potable water. That creates less plastic waste. Plus, the Makers donate 1% of their profits to planet-protecting organizations.

Water tastes good when it has been filtered, but even better when you’re helping the earth a little bit.

@James Works instantly on odors and taste. In standard pint-size water bottle all contaminants are adsorbed within first few minutes. Pod works effectively up to 264 gallons.

Is this just for tap water? Can you use it for stream water while camping? Or rain water?

  • Kent

@Angie The GoPure Pod is designed for everyday use to purify potable water. Rain water would likely taste better with a GoPure Pod. If you plan on drinking stream water anyway then the water will be safer with a GoPure Pod then without it, although this is not recommended. Hope this helps clarify!

Would this be something I could travel with? I'm always leery of drinking water in Mexico (don't drink the water!) or overseas?

@Sarah The GoPure Pod is a perfect travel companion! We recommend using with water already treated from your hotel or with the bottled water often available, which is not always safe overseas.

Hi, I live in Wilmington, NC and we have issues with Gen-x. Will this purification pod help with that?

  • Kent

    6/23/2017 11:02 AM

@Meghan There are now many unregulated chemical compounds found in tap water across the country with Genx being just one of them. GoPure works effectively to remove these types of chemical contaminants and while we have not tested specifically with Genx, we have seen great results with other contaminants with similar chemical properties.

Does this rid water of harmful bacteria too?

@laura The GoPure Pod ceramic surface is purposely designed to always remain free of bacteria/biofilm and prevent its growth.

Do you need to buy a new one every 6 months?

  • Kent

    6/23/2017 11:10 AM

@Maryle The GoPure Pod remains effective for up to 264 gallons or six months, whichever comes first. If you are drinking more than 1.5 gallons/day then this may require more frequent replacement. Either way it's still pennies per day to ensure healthy hydration!

@Ellen Yes! the GoPure Pod removes over 97% of fluoride.

My well water in Ohio is a little bit gray so I don't drink it. Would this make it safe to drink?

@Terese The GoPure Pod works effectively with well water. Most well water tends to be acidic and the Pod helps balance alkalinity and improve taste. Some wells are also prone to arsenic which can leach into groundwater depending on surrounding industrial activities nearby. GoPure removes 99% of arsenic. Recommend you get your well water tested to see what is causing the discoloration.
