Usually guac won’t last more than a day without browning. But this guacamole container creates an airtight seal that keeps oxygen out, so it stays green and fresh for days. (It’s great for hummus, salsa, and tzatziki, too.) Push the the container’s base to remove the air, which raises the guac to the top. The push feature comes in handy as you start enjoying the dip—give a press and it lifts the contents to the top and avoids the need to scrape dip off the sides.

Why Did This Take So Long


I went to a taco party recently after receiving my Guac-Lock. I made several things to bring to the party the night before because I was short on time the day of the party. Used the Guac-Lock to store my guacamole the night before and it was like fresh made 24 hours later. I got lots of complements because everything had time to marry during the night. Love this apparatus. No more cling wrap to help preserve the Guac.More > < Less

Although it is larger than it appears I am a huge fan of this product. I wish the company would make a smaller version for small households.
I did NOT think this product would work but bought it anyway as guacamole storage has been an aggravation for all of the ppl I know, whether they make their own or buy it pre-made. Blackened leftover guac is disgusting.
I conducted an experiment where I made a two avocado guac and packed it into the Guac-Lock and left it in the refrigerator untouched for 4 days. I opened it last night and not a single spec of black and it tasted like I had just made it. I just went and opened it for the second time, at 5 days, is PERFECT!!! Again, not a speck or hint of oxidation. As soon as I hit "Submit" I am going to buy 3 more for Christmas presents.
This is GENIUS!!!!
