@Jill -- Hi Jill. Oh yes! We posted some pictures inside each one of the colors. If you click into the picture of the Glossy Black bag, you'll find several images that show you the inside of the bag and the charging adaptors. Thanks for the question!

@Kate I tried to submit a question but it doesn't seem to be popping up. Is there a list somewhere of all of the charging adapters that are included. I know in the description it says i can be used with iphone or android, but all of the pictures shown are only iphone adapters. I am looking to get this for someone with an android that charges with a micro USB adapter and want to ensure it would work.

It's cute, and I like the idea in theory, but it just pushes the problem of low phone battery back another step, because now I have to remember to charge my purse instead of my phone. Two phone charges is not very much.

    Hi Abigail

Thanks for your feedback. This is true, however we still see it as a time saver as it can charge your phone twice before it needs to be recharged itself. As long as you keep your purse charged, you don't have to worry about being out on the town and running out of battery.

@Amy That's true...but there's still the issue of "as long as you keep your purse charged." I just can't see spending $99 on this product.

  • Jessica

@Abigail The purpose of this type of product isn't to use it as the primary method for charging your phone. For people who use their phone a lot, they find their phones dying before they're home and/or have access to their regular charger. This would let you recharge anytime, anywhere. That being said, there are cheaper alternatives for around $20... they do sell lipstick-sized portable chargers (on Amazon) that you can pop into any purse.

Is there a list of all of the different adapters that this clutch comes with anywhere? It says it is iphone and android compatible but I want to know which adapters it actually has inside of it. All the pictures only show iphone chargers and I am looking to get this for individuals with android devices that take micro usb chargers.

    Hi Jennifer,

The adaptor inside the clutch is a universal adaptor for any phone. The picture in the black glossy purse shows an iphone charger, but that's just an example of how you can place any phone charger onto the adaptor. Say you had that purse, you would just remove the iphone charger and place your own onto the universal adaptor. Hope this helps.

I agree with Abigail - how is the purse really any different than charging with a cord & plug?

  • Kate
    Kate – Grommet Team
    12/9/2013 4:02 PM

@Leslie -- Thanks for the question! The Mighty Purse doesn't need to be plugged in while your device is charging, so you can be on the go, assured that your phone will get the juice it needs to run. I'll keep the Mighty Purse charged for nights out and for traveling. It will be great for times when I know my phone battery is likely to be drained before I can charge it at night.

@Kate I think in my mind, it doesn't really eliminate the heart of the problem, which is the need to charge a device. If I forget to charge the Mighty Purse, then I have the same problem as if I forget to charge my phone. Yes, if I remember to keep the Mighty Purse charged, and I'm "out and about" and my phone is low, I can use the Mighty Purse. But what happens after I've used the Mighty Purse twice and my phone is low? I'm back at Square One. It just seems like a steep price for a device that doesn't actually solve the issue, which is forgetting to charge.

Hi Amy... Like this quite a bit. Had low phone battery just the other night and this would have come in handy while I was shopping. Plus it keeps the phone "on the run" rather than in a charger back at home or in the car where it can be stolen. Have a Samsung Galaxy and a Samsung 10" tablet.... will it work with both? Also, if I upgrade my phone in several months can the charging tip be changed out to accomodate the new phone?

  • Kate

    12/9/2013 2:25 PM

@Marie - Hi Marie. Thanks for the question. It will definitely work with the Samsung Galaxy, and I'm looking into how the tablet charges and whether it will work. The main adapter is a micro-USB, and designed to be universal, so yes, when you upgrade your phone, your purse will still charge it.

@Kate But what happens if I decide to change to an iphone? Or the micro-USB gets damaged in some way? Or the phone makes decide to change the charging component? Can the tips be changed out once they are in the purse? Or are they permanent to the purse?

    Hi Karol,

Good question. Nope, it won't demagnetize any cards. There are 2 zippered pockets. A small one in the back like a typical clutch and a bigger zippered pocket in the middle.

You're missing a major market and I think it would be easy - Travel Wallets for MEN. Passport, Phone, currency - just don't call it a purse and some 'natural' colors (Tan, non glossy black). Great idea - I just can't see myself with these colors - Good luck. David
