All-in-One Device Cleaner

Clean Screen

This Made in the USA screen cleaner will have you happy to clean your devices.

HÄNS is super thorough. Its saturated, anti-microbial sponge lifts oil, dirt, and germs for the delicate microfiber cloth to wipe off. You can see it at work.

Brothers Scott and Jeff Bushaw would regularly wipe off their screens but didn’t like the
amount of disposable wipes they were trashing. They wanted a tool that you could reuse and refill.

We like that you don’t need to spray a drippy cleaning solution, just saturate the sponge and swipe it across the screen. And when you run out, just refill.

Keep computer, phone, and tablet screens squeaky clean with a few swipes.

Just a quick question, Scott: is the solution safe for use on the latest (and previous) MacBook Pro screens?

@Russell thank you for the question! HÄNS can be used on the newer and older versions of Macbook Pro screens. HÄNS can even go beyond the screen and clean the entire laptop – the outside, the keyboard and trackpad. The previous macbook screens from a few years back made from nylon can also be cleaned but they do require a bit more work to get the same effect as you would get on a more current model.

Hi Scott. How long (or for how many uses) does the cleaner last? Also, how do you know when it's time to wash the microfiber cloth?

  • Scott

@Michael Thank you for the question! HÄNS generally lasts hundreds of uses before needing to be refilled when using HÄNS to clean the average smartphone. If you are cleaning a tablet or computer screen, HÄNS will not last quite as long just because you are using more cleaning solution per clean, but, with HÄNS being fully refillable the unit itself lasts indefinitely! Washing the microfiber cloth depends on how often and what kind of grime you are cleaning. However, you can always re-wrap the microfiber cloth, which can allow you to not wash for months at a time while still being able to use a clean portion of the cloth.

@Bobby Definitely! You can use both sides of HÄNS on your eyeglasses. You can also unwrap your microfiber cloth and moisten the cloth with HÄNS cleaning solution for hard to reach areas of your glasses frames if you need to deep clean them. We've had many customers say how great HÄNS works on their glasses!

Is the HÄNS water tight so the solution doesn't leak if I toss it in my backpack when traveling?

@David HÄNS does not contain free flowing liquid so there is no opportunity for the Solution to drip. The Solution is held within the applicator which extends into the body and the caps are very tight so they will not come off in a bag or pocket during transport. I carry my HÄNS in my briefcase to and from work each day, and my brother carries his in his pocket!

Can you provide a complete ingredient list for the anti-microbial fluid? I have skin allergies to a number of substances that are often used in cleaners, soaps and the like, and thought I would like to purchase your product, I need to be sure it won't give me a rash to use it.

Hi @Karen, we worked on the Cleaning Solution for about 2 years with chemists to create the kind of solution we needed for cleaning touch screen devices. We completely understand your position, but apologize that we cannot list the ingredients, the ingredients are proprietary. On the side of caution, we would suggest that you consider HÄNS to be like many other cleaners and/or soaps.

Hi @Patricia, HÄNS can be used on most all laptop screens, but works best if the screen is glass. Nylon screens can be cleaned, but they take a bit longer and more effort to clean because of the properties of the nylon.

I've read in several places that fluids should be used very sparingly for best results when cleaning phone, tv, and computer screens. The video seems to take the opposite approach. Are you able to use your product with just a very small amount of fluid and does it work equally well, not as well, etc?

Hi @Gary, you can think of HÄNS’ clean as a two-part clean. HÄNS solution was designed to clean a surface much like a cleaning wipe cleans for sanitary reasons, this clean is part 1. For a liquid to clean a surface, it needs to adequately wet the surface. Part 2 is for a visual clean, which allows you to wipe away any of the remaining residue with the microfiber polishing sheet. If you do prefer to use a small amount of cleaning solution, you do not need to wet the entire surface of the device you are cleaning but a small portion of it with the applicator and switch to microfiber polishing side of HÄNS.

Hi Scott. It sounds like a great product. I have a few related questions: Is it ok to use the solution on an iPhone glass screen protector? Will it be as effective on the glass screen protector as it is on the actual iPhone screen? Can the solution get underneath the glass screen protector, causing the need for the glass screen protector to be removed to get rid of the excess liquid that may now be underneath? Thanks.

Hi @Mark, thank you! Yes, HÄNS is as effective on a glass screen protector as the actual glass screen of your iPhone. Many of our customers have screen protectors. HÄNS controls the amount of liquid that is released when you use it, which reduces the chance of any liquid getting caught under the protector since there isn't excess liquid dripping onto or around your screen. There is a possibility that the liquid may get underneath the protector but that seems like it would only happen if the seal on the protector was not tight resulting in space or an air gap between the phone and the protector, but we have not heard of that issue happening with HÄNS before.

Hi Scott, I have 2 questions: (1) Can you at least divulge the ingredient(s) that are anti-microbial? (2) Can the product be used on an iMac desktop screen? Thank you. Robert

Hi @Robert thank you for your comment. I apologize but, its our policy to not list any of the ingredients as they are all involved in the process that makes up HÄNS and how it works. We do use HÄNS on our iMac desktops, it is best to clean that large of a screen in quadrants to help the solution to not dry as you go over such a large area before changing to wiping the screen with the microfiber polishing sheet.
