@Jacqueline Hi Jacqueline, I can understand how that seems different, and the only reason we recommend Hand Wash is to maintain the pristiness of the color of the patterns. We all know washing clothes in the washing machine over time will fade any color. It doesn't mean you cannot put them in the washing machine, in fact I've done it quite a few times and the pants are still in excellent shape. I hope that answers your question :)

I'm obviously not getting something. Why are these pants any different than knit (or otherwise stretchy material) pants I can buy in hundreds of stores or on-line, and in a wider variety of prints, solids, colors, and sizes? Not trying to be mean, but I am seriously at a loss here. What am I missing? I'm 75 so it could be pretty obvious and I might miss it. Sorry!

@Irene Hi Irene - I know it's difficult to tout the feeling of something online. I wish I could somehow send you a swatch of the matieral through the computer, then you would see why we are so gaga over these particular lounge pants. The feel... the softness of these pants & shorts have is none like I've ever encountered. It's like the fabric is brushed with a cozy softness & stretchability you'll want to live in. They are so easy to wear with a relaxed fit. Plus the comfort elastic waist band with drawstring makes them very special.

Do you plan to make the lounge pants in capri length. I am older and the long pants on PJs and sweats cause me to trip. Others have also complained of this. I only buy PJs in capri length winter or summer.

@Catherine Hi Catherine, We certainly do not want to cause you to trip and fall - my suggestion would be to get the shorts. There's is enough flow to them to give you coverage, and no risk of injury.

@Jane Hi Jane, You'd never know it, but the pants and shorts are made from 100% polyester. They are incredibly soft!
